My Experience with Khadi 18 Herbs Herbal Ayurvedic Hair Oil:
Although I do not need any antidepressant agents in my life but intrigued by the ingredients list of the product I picked up this one. I have used it a couple of times and thought this is the right time to share my experiences about the product.
Let’s begin with packaging of the product. The hair oil comes in a regular Khadi packaging; the regular cylindrical plastic bottle with a black colored flip cap. The cap shuts with an audible click making it leak proof. It has two simple cream colored sticker pasted on it containing the product details. The bottle is quite petite. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel friendly but very simple.
I usually apply it at bedtime. The hair oil has a typical medicinal kind of fragrance. The aroma is too strong and a little bothering for me, as I do not like herbal fragrances. But the minty scent feels relaxing. So, the fragrance is powerful yet relaxing. The hair oil is a translucent black-ish liquid. The consistency is actually watery and it does spill very easily. The hole of the bottle is quite big and the product spills due to its runny consistency. It is very lightweight and non sticky. Though it is very runny in consistency, but I really find it comfortable to apply liberally on my hair. I love how comfortable it feels on the hair.
Now, coming to the point how it exactly works on my hair. The oil is loaded with so many herbs. It contains almost all essential oils in it. It is a rich blend of herbs that provide nourishment to the hair. It instantly gives a refreshing cooling sensation. I cannot comment how it works as an anti-depressant as luckily I am not going through any depression phase, but I must say its cooling sensation gives a calming feel. It really helps to release some stress. It also contains herbs like amla, bhringraj, etc. which are good for hair and promotes hair growth. It makes my hair soft and smooth. I have frizzy hair and this oil has greatly helped in taming the frizz and leaving my hair manageable.
It is very easy to wash off this hair oil in just one go. I get thoroughly cleansed hair in just one wash. I skip conditioner many a times just to check how my shampoo or oil is exactly working. I skipped conditioner with this product also. When, I washed of my hair, they were really soft, smooth & manageable. Though the product does not claim to do anything with hair growth, but I have really observed a great difference in hair fall and it promotes hair growth. I was fighting from hair fall, since I have used VLCC shampoo. This oil has reduced my hair fall greatly with a few uses. Overall, I love this product; this is just amazing. It is very calming and nourishes my hair as well.
