I love Aloe- Vera in my skin care products. Aloe-Vera is a great product for all skin types. I love to try different products containing Aloe-Vera. Recently, I bought Khadi Aloe Vera Gel with Neem and Tulsi. I had never used any Khadi Aloe-Vera products earlier. They have so many variants of products containing Aloe-Vera. So I decided to give it a try. And I am quite impressed! So today I am reviewing Khadi Aloe Vera Gel with the goodness of Neem and Tulsi. This is blessing for oily skinned people.
This Aloe Vera gel is a one of a kind product brought to you by Khadi which works wonders on your acne-prone skin. With neem extracts, and natural pomegranate, this gel is ideal for daily use and acts both as an antiseptic and a soothing balm for irritated or healing skin. Suitable for use on burns as well as open wounds.
Aloe-Vera, Neem, Tulsi, Glycerin, Carbopol, Parabens & Acacia Catches, Punica Granatum
I got it for Rs.240/- for 210 ml
My Experience With Khadi Aloe-Vera Gel with Neem & Tulsi:
Khadi is one of my favorite brands. They have such an amazing beauty skin care range. And this Aloe Vera gel is certainly one of them.
This Aloe Vera gel comes with a transparent plastic bottle with a black flip open cap. e packaging is not impressive though. I really think they should change their packaging because I am so bored with this typical Khadi style packaging. All their products are packed in the same old bottle hence, it is really difficult to identify the products. Though the packaging is boring, the bottle is leak proof and travel friendly. At least it is better than a jar container. This Aloe-Vera gel is a mild green coloured gel. This is the good part as I like colorless skin care products. Maximum Aloe-Vera gels comes with deep green in color. But originally Aloe Vera gel has no color or mild green like this gel. So I am happy with this.
It is a light weight gel with a decent consistency, neither too runny nor too thick like cream. It instantly gets absorbed without any sticky feeling. It can blend easily and leaves a matte finish after being absorbed properly. You needs a small amount of the product to massage into your face. I generally like to use this as a face massage gel. But sometimes I also use this as a hand lotion as well. It blends so smoothly into the hands. I love the finishing touch of this product. My skin feels very soft supple. This is an oil free and non sticky product – a perfect gel for oily skinned people like me
This Gel not only contains Aloe Vera, but also contains ingredients like Neem and Tulsi, which help in reducing Acne, rashes and pimples. It also helps in preventing skin infections. I have noticed that it did reduce my mild rashes and never broke me out. But if you expect that it to cure and heal major skin acne issues, forget it! It is only beneficial for mild skin problem. This is a skin friendly product and works great as a moisturizer too. Normal skinned beauties will also love this product. But I don’t think it will work great for dry skinned people. Other Aloe-Vera gels in the market are quite thick and sticky in texture. But this one is genuinely amazing. Also, it takes little time to blend completely into the skin. At first it feels quite watery, but after few minutes it completely gets absorbed into the skin and my skin looks totally oil free and fresh.
This Aloe Vera gel doesn’t come with SPF. So this is not a day time moisturizer. You may use this one under your moisturizer or sunscreen at day time. But I prefer to use this at evening/night, as an after sun gel. It has a cooling effect which energizes my tried face after a whole day of work. It feels so relaxing and soothing. I never feel any oiliness after applying this gel. It can control oils up to 2 hours, after that time period my T zones starts getting oily again. For me this is a good oil free product, which has soothing, moisturizing effect & keeps the skin free from Acne, pimples & other infections.
The only drawback of this product is that it contains parabens. I don’t understand, how a natural product can contains an ingredient like parabens? Really disappointing!! I also hate the smell of this product. It smells like medicine. I don’t like this at all. But the good part is that the smell is not long lasting and doesn’t linger on the skin. I can smell it only till the time I am applying it. Apart from that, the most irritating-cum-surprising part is the price of this product. After I bought this one I noticed that the price is not mentioned on the bottle. The actual price of this Aloe-Vera gel is INR 189 (on the official website) but maximum online store sales it for INR 240. Maybe they include the delivery charges, but 240 bucks is also very inexpensive, considering the quantity provided. Overall, this gel is great for normal to oily skinned people. It is a good soothing and moisturizing gel with the goodness of Aloe-Vera along with Neem and Tulsi.
