Khadi Cold Cream Review
Hi IMBB!!
I had used only one Khadi product which has actually worked fine for me when I decided to pick something else this time. Their store has so many products to offer that it gets extremely confusing actually. However, as winters are approaching, I need products to defend my skin from the extreme conditions the weather has to offer, so I picked up the Khadi Cold Cream. Surprisingly, Khadi has only one variant to offer.
Product Description:
Khadi Everyday Cold Cream with sandal and almond oil. The specially developed cream for moisturizing skin. It gives nourishing smoothness and softy touch to the skin.
Ingredients:
Price:
80 INR for 50 gm.
Best before 2 years of packaging.
My Experience with Khadi Cold Cream:
The pack says that it’s an ayurvedic medicine which actually attracted me towards this cream. Also, it’s called everyday cream which is true because its very light and does not leave the skin oily at all. For the same reason, one does not have to wipe off the excess. Its consistency is like a body butter which makes it easy to glide onto the skin too.
I do not like the smell which is not a bad smell, but somehow I dislike it though it vanishes on application. My only complaint is that I cannot use the same cream for my full family as my parents have dry skin. It’s suited only for all skin types except the dry ones. As for me, I think I have found my HG cold cream as its exactly what my combination skin requires. By the way, its a good base for makeup too, but remember its not for dry skin as the cream just vanishes giving a natural look to the face while dry beauties would look moisture deprived without reapplying this from time to time.
Pros of Khadi Cold Cream:
- Excellent cold cream for normal, combination, and oily skin.
- Light on skin.
- Does not leave the skin oily.
- Easy to carry.
- Glides easily on skin.
- Affordable as little would go a long way.
- Contains herbal ingredients.
- Contains beeswax.
Cons of Khadi Cold Cream:
- Personally, I do not think there is any con in this, but it is not for dry skin.
IMBB Rating:
4.5/5 (I want them to mention the skin type on the label of every Khadi product).
Overall Verdict:
In all, this is an affordable cold cream that’s meant for all except dry skinned beauties. As for me, I am relieved that I have finally found an appropriate cold cream for my combination skin which unlike other cold creams does not leave it oily at all. Hope my review helps 🙂
