Khadi Green Tea Aloe Vera Hair Conditioner Review

Khadi Green Tea Aloe Vera Hair Conditioner

Hola lovelies,

Khadi is one of the most trusted upon brand mainly because of all of its products are made from natural and botanical ingredients.

Today I would be reviewing one of the conditioners – Khadi Green Tea Aloe Vera Hair Conditioner.
I have fine long super straight hair and a little oily scalp. A couple of years back, when Dove introduced its new range of shampoos, I was quite eager and excited to try them. The only problem I had with my hair was they looked limp the very next day after I wash my hair. And after trying DOVE’s range of shampoos, I was really horrified. Not only because it gave me hairfall (thanks to DOVE, I have thin, dull hair now) my hair also lost shine and lustre, which I naturally had without using any serums or masks.

I stopped experimenting with my hair after this, and stuck my good old pantene. Though it dint help much, but at least I was happy I dint have any further hairfall. It was after this is was on lookout for conditioners and serums, which could help add some shine to my dull hair. And thanks to IMBB, I got introduced to this brand Khadi which otherwise I would have never come across.

My Experience with – Khadi Green Tea Aloe Vera Hair Conditioner:

First thing that made me try this conditioner was it is completely herbal. Off course, the green tea and anti-oxidant caught my attention.

Packaging:

Coming to the product, it comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip cap.

Texture:

It has a body lotion type consistency, neither very thick not runny type. Definitely not like TRESemmé, which I find has much more thickness. It has a Very very mild herbal fragrance which disappears once u wash your hair. I generally leave it on for not more than 1 minute, as I am usually late to work.
It does a pretty quick job leaving my hair softy smooth. It does nothing to make my hair shine though.
My hair doesn’t get limp the very next day. Maybe adds a little bounce to the hair. I don’t experience this often, only at times when I oil my hair before hair wash.

But overall I am neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with this product (I was expecting it to make my lack lustre -hair shine)

Pros of Khadi Green Tea Aloe Vera Hair Conditioner:

  • Makes my hair smooth and a little bouncy 😉
  • No chemicals. No hairfall.
  • Cheaper and easily available. Lasts longer.

Cons of Khadi Green Tea Aloe Vera Hair Conditioner:

  • Doesn’t add any shine.
  • The flip cap wears out very soon.

3/5

Would I recommend / Repurchase Khadi Green Tea Aloe Vera Hair Conditioner?

It’s a so-so product I would say. No harm in trying it.
I would maybe try some other conditioner from Khadi.

  1. Khadi products are either a hit or a miss. And folks with fine hair and oily scalp should stay miles away from any dove product. My mom and I on the other hand love all dove hair products since we have thick, dry, unmangeable curly and wavy hair respectively and dove helps to some extent to tame them! 🙂

    1. I wish someone had advised me before about DOVE.!! 🙁 🙁 🙁
I love your kinda hair preeti, thick curly hair! Oh.. how i wish, i had them!

  2. try using this conditioner with a khadi shampoo that suits you. As in wash your hair with some khadi shampoo to 1st clean the scalp and the take some khadi shampoo with this conditioner and give a second wash it will work better. And for those who wash their hair quite frequently almost everyday then the combination of part shampoo and part conditioner will work very well. *haan ji*
