Khadi Henna, Amla and Honey Herbal Shampoo Review

Khadi Henna, Amla and Honey Herbal Shampoo

Lustrous, healthy looking locks are a secret wish of every woman and this is no secret! 😀 Unfortunately, keeping our hair soft, shiny and beautiful is not an easy task and we all know it. A lot of effort goes in selecting the right products to keep our beautiful hair – just so beautiful!

Well, thankfully we do have some chemical free brands out there, like Khadi Herbals, to help us out! And ofcourse, the shampoo I have picked for today’s review is from the same brand.I don’t think I need to introduce you to Khadi, I believe everyone is familiar with this amazing herbal brand, so let’s just begin with the review!

Khadi Henna Amla and Honey Shampoo (1)

Claims – Removes dandruff, improves hair life and prevents greying of hair.

Main Ingredients – Henna, Amla and Honey

Price – Rs. 90 for 210 ml

My Experience with Khadi Henna, Amla and Honey Herbal Shampoo:

I purchased this shampoo 1.5 months back with the onset of winters. Of course, it is no-brainer that the dry winds dry your scalp too. Result? – Dandruff . And it was primarily for this very reason that I bought the shampoo. Of course, there are a lot of brands in the market that make sure you achieve a healthy dandruff free scalp in one wash. But, this time I wanted to try something herbal – Hence Khadi! 😀 Besides, the fact that it is enriched with Henna, Amla and Honey was another add on. Henna and Amla have remained the known secrets to black, shiny, lustrous hair which prevents premature greying. In short, I had no reason to not try this shampoo. And after using it for 1.5 months now, I can safely tell you that it was a good decision. Khadi shampoos are ph-balanced, the reason I am stating this fact is to let you know that they don’t work like your usual shampoos. Little would not be enough. The shampoo won’t even lather up instantly and if you have oil in your hair you have to use a good quantity.
Khadi Henna Amla and Honey Shampoo (2)

Anyhow, the end results I achieved after using Khadi Henna, Amla and Honey were dandruff free, soft and shiny hair. One thing I would like to mention here is – I have a zero-dandruff tolerance policy, which simply means I need to use a anti-dandruff shampoo even if my scalp start to itch just a little bit. And maybe because my dandruff issues were not as severe, I could achieve dandruff free scalp in one wash. But I am sure it will work beautifully for those of you who have severe dandruff issues, just that it will take maybe not one wash but a couple to achieve that.  Not such a bad thing, at least it is herbal! 😀 As far as the fragrance is concerned;it kind of reminds me of Britannia cream biscuits. 😀 Don’t worry, the smell won’t even last you a day, so you won’t be walking around smelling like a biscuit.

  1. Well That’s true. But unless you are allergic to certain herbs – I think being herbal and sls and paraben free. It would be pretty safe to try 🙂
