My Experience with Khadi Herbal Anti-ageing Cream with Kokum Butter:
Like most other creams, Khadi anti-ageing cream comes in a small glass container with a black screw on lid. Since it is a 50 gm tub, it is not bulky and is easy to be carried in handbags too. It had a transparent seal around the body and over the lid. Also, it had a foil cover which I tore at one end only so as to preserve the properties of the cream. All the product details are neatly written on the container. Although a tub packaging is not so hygienic and causes loss of efficacy, I try to reduce it by retaining the foil and using a spatula to scoop out the product.
I got this cream for my mom who has dry skin. The cream is thick and buttery, and feels incredibly soothing on skin. It is richly nourishing and intensively moisturizing without being greasy or oily. It gets absorbed in a minute or so of massaging and skin feels supple and soft.
It is enriched with kokum butter. Kokum butter is a great emollient and supplies essential nutrients to skin. It acts as a superfood for parched skin and takes away dryness. It heals dry patches and nourishes skin from within.
It is an anti-ageing cream mainly due to the properties of kokum butter. The antioxidants in the butter helps in the regeneration of cells and regular use helps prevent wrinkles. It definitely reduces fine lines around mouth and temple. You can also use it around and under your eyes. Since it prevents dryness, you can reduce signs of premature ageing. My mom’s skin feels very well-hydrated and soft, with reduced age signs. Also, it helps to restore a healthy glow to dull dehydrated skin.
