Khadi Herbal Lip Balm – Peach

Khadi Herbal Lip Balm – Peach

Hello Lovelies!

I have this weird obsession. Well, to be frank, everything I do is weird and this is just one out of many weird obsessions that possess me. I stock lip balms with respect to their colours. I need to own every freaking colour that lip balms come in. I even own one in blue which I’ve never used because it is Chinese and I am a bit skeptical about using it on my lips. 😀 So, when my Jooves lip balm in lemon flavour exhausted, I needed to get another yellow coloured lip balm and I ordered Khadi Herbal Lip Balm in peach flavour.

Price:

Rs100 for 10gms/ 0.35oz.

Product Description:

As the thin skin on your lips is very delicate and prone to getting dry easily, constant hydration is an absolute must. The Khadi Herbal Peach Lip Balm (With Beeswax and Shea Butter), suitable for use by both, men and women, is the perfect remedy for chapped lips. Since what we apply over the lips can easily get ingested, this Peach Lip Balm is organic in nature and is made using natural herbs that are safe and gentle on your lips. Khadi gives you two of nature’s best emollients in this lip balm – beeswax and shea butter.

My Experience with Khadi Herbal Lip Balm in Peach Flavour:

The product comes in a tiny plastic, transparent jar with a screw on cap. The packaging is very simple as for all the other Khadi products. A tiny circular sticker on the cap lets us know the name of the product and on a similar sticker at the base of the jar, is mentioned the key ingredients and manufacturing and selling details.

The colour of the product in the jar is a vivid lemon yellow. The smell is slightly peachy, but it reminds me of mango markets, not the sweet smell of individual mangoes but the kind of smell that emanates from a place where lots of mangoes have been stocked. I love this smell. It reminds me of summers, which I simply love because I can’t endure winters.

The texture is smooth and the consistency is thinner than that of Lotus lip balms. It moisturizes the lips well and keeps them hydrated for as long as four hours. It does not feel sticky or greasy on the lips. It has no tint whatsoever and just adds to the shine and smoothness of the lips. The one thing I hate about this lip balm is that there is no SPF whatsoever, which makes it inappropriate for application if exposure to sun is imminent. However, if a water-proof sunscreen is worn on the lips, this problem is solved. Summing it up, it’s a decent, affordable product that keeps the lips hydrated for quite some time.
