Khadi Herbal Mint Lip Balm Review

Hello Ladies!!!

Winters are GONE and summers are here. Winter cosmetics are going to be packed up and summer one’s are going to be welcomed. But there is one product that we never cease to use and that is the lip balm. I am not a lip balm fanatic but since I have to sit in AC in office the entire day I do experience a lot of drying of lips. I was very addicted to Maybelline Baby Lips but wanted some change in life and decided to try out the ones from Khadi. I initially ordered the chocolate one and went nuts over it and eventually ordered 2 more. I have also tried watermelon, grapefruit and peach.

Also the price and manufacturing date are mentioned at the bottom of the jar.

My Experience with Khadi Herbal Mint Lip Balm:

Let me admit this first that the foremost reason for buying this lip balm was its color. I mean it looks so fresh and appealing that I was sold on it immediately. The color is a refreshing minty sky blue. These are more like the petroleum jelly in consistency but not that closely held molecules. Its application is super easy and since the texture is smooth it spreads evenly on the lips. The lip balm as its name suggests has the fragrance of strong mint. Has anyone tried those ice cubes mint which we get in the US, remember how cool and strong they are. This lip balm is no different. Exactly like those refreshing Orbit mints we get here in India. The fragrance does not completely vanish but remains for a long time. Although it subsides as the time passes.

Khadi Natural Mint Lip Balm

Mint is neither too greasy nor too glossy and feels extremely light on the lips. I use the lip balms beneath my lipsticks all the time. As I said I work in AC for almost 8-9 hours every day, I feel these lip balms work wonders in such circumstances. Mint is very hydrating and moisturizes the lips for around 3 hours before a second application is required. Mint and the others from this range that I have tried are not very effective on chapped lips. Also, since one has to dig in their fingers every time for application into the jar, I feel it gets a little unhygienic.
