Khadi Herbal Moisturizer Rose and Honey Review

Khadi Herbal Moisturizer Rose and Honey

Heylo women,

I had a nice, packed weekend. This week marks a happy beginning for me. I am going home after 5 months! Yay! I know my home is in Andamans.. home is where your hubby and kid is, but going to Delhi or Meerut (my home town) is such a joyous thing for Andamanis like me. Though immediately upon landing in Delhi, I complain about dust, loud noise, shrewd people etc but being closer to your loved ones is something beyond words.

This week I also opened up my second bottle of Khadi Rose and Honey moisturizer. I used this once long time back and opened the new bottle yesterday.

The moisturizer is good. Nothing like the other Khadi products that I used (cream and face freshner) but it is not bad either. Lets have a look.

Product Description: Suitable for all skin types. Keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day leaving a soft, comforting and lingering fragrance.

How to use: apply on hands and body after cleansing and washing
Ingredients: Rose, Honey, almond oil, wheatgerm oil, jojoba oil, aloe vera

My Review:

In plain words, I like it. Like I said before I don’t think it is a great product but it is a good moisturizer. It moisturizes well, only in summers though. It won’t be suitable for winters. (but then it says suitable for all skin types) Moisturizers with ‘suitable for all skin types’ claim are usually not suitable for dry skin in winters.

It has a mild fragrance. It is not a rosey fragrance all the way, it is like a rose water fragrance. The fragrance is any way kind of immaterial here because it fades away very soon after application.

The lotion comes in a creamy texture but it does not feel heavy on the skin. Yeah, in summers you may find it a bit heavy initially but it gets absorbed easily and after you rub it off well on the skin, you don’t feel it oily or greasy or heavy at all.
All in all, it is a good moisturizer for summers though I personally feel there are many better alternatives available in the market.

Pros:
• Contains no harmful chemicals
• Does not feel heavy on the skin
• Affordable
• Carries a mild fragrance
• Moisturises well in summers but dry skin people may find it too light in hydration

Cons:
• Not too moisturizing for dry skin
• Bottle is slightly inconvenient to use; one has to push hard to get some lotion out of it
• Not well scented (I prefer fragrant lotions in summers)
• Better alternatives available in the market

Overall Rating: 3.5/5

Recommendation: You can try it if you want lot of product for a fair price and a total herbal product.
