My college never has summer holidays even when it’s burning hot outside. Thankfully, due to Rabindra Jayanti and elections, we got a long break of 6 days (which is a life-saver for us!)..Anyways, coming back to review. My last review was a Khadi product and along with that I brought a couple of more products from their range. I have been using this product for a couple of weeks and let’s see how it worked for me..

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

It’s a herbal face and body moisturizer with Shea butter to make skin soft. It is Paraben free and cruelty free as well.

DIRECTIONS:

After cleaning of washing, apply on body and hand.

Price: Rs. 220 for 210ml/7.10 fl oz

Shelf life: 2years.

My Experience with Khadi Herbal Peach and Avocado Moisturiser

Khadi is such a product which won’t give you overnight amazing results nor will it disappoint you totally, its somewhere in between – and so is this one. You can only have a love-hate relationship with this brand. Undoubtedly, the Paraben and SLS free factor is the main thing which makes the Khadi products unique..

Packaging: A simple transparent bottle with a black cap. The product can be taken out from the cap that shuts with a click. The mention of ‘Shea butter’ clearly mentioned on the front of the pack. Though the skin type is not mentioned there, I somehow understood that it’s not going to be for oily skin girls, at least in this summer. Necessary information was clearly written on the label.

Smell: The funniest part is here. Its smells like bubblegum. 😛 I actually applied in on my face before going off to sleep and when my mom came to wake me up, she said I smell like bubblegum. The smell stayed on and on until I washed it off with a facial foam.
Texture: I felt that the product was quite viscous and very light peach in color. Though it won’t be seen in the picture because the color in very light.

As usual, the moisturizer is for normal to dry skin. As I have oily skin, it’s very difficult to use it in this pathetic summer. My feet and body sometimes gets very dry due to excessive bathing, so sometimes I use it for my body as a body lotion.

Pros of Khadi Herbal Peach and Avocado Moisturiser

1. Herbal, Parabens free and safe for skin.
2. Perfect for normal to dry skin people.
3. Amazing smell which lingers and keeps the skin fresh.
4. Price is justifiable for the amount of product.
5. Keeps the skin well moisturized for long.
6. Easily available online, if there’s not a Khadi shop nearby.
7. Perfect moisturizer for dry skin people.

Cons of Khadi Herbal Peach and Avocado Moisturiser

1. Disappointing for oily skin people.
2. Packaging. For Christ’s Sake, can’t they change the packaging for once, at least?

Will I repurchase Khadi Herbal Peach and Avocado Moisturiser?

Not actually. I feel Khadi doesn’t manufacture enough products for oily skin beauties so it’s a little difficult to finish off these moisturizers.

Will I recommend Khadi Herbal Peach and Avocado Moisturiser?

Dry skin people can go for it blindly! It will work amazingly for them.
