I feel I am writing after a long time for IMBB. I was out of city for two whole weeks. It was so much fun being at home and attending friends’ wedding. It was awesome. And as I am back to Bangalore, I am back at IMBB now. Today, I would be reviewing the best sunscreen I have ever used and the best product from Khadi, too. It is the Khadi Herbal Sunscreen lotion. Read on to know more!

My experience with Khadi Herbal Sunscreen Lotion:

Using the sunscreen alone leaves my skin dry. I would have to use a lotion before applying sunscreen. So, for a long time I was looking for a moisturizer with sunscreen benefits. One day, while browsing randomly, I came across this product. “With Shea Butter” and “Paraben Free” immediately caught my attention. I ordered one online and I am using it over a month now. It has got a mild aloe vera smell, which is very soothing. It would not stay for long, though. A very small amount is required, and a pea-size amount is enough for the entire face. If more is applied, it would make the skin greasy. The amount taken in the picture is enough for both arms and hands.
I have been applying it on my face and hands daily and it has made my skin so soft! It does not make the skin lighter or fairer permanently, but a little reduction in darkness of complexion can be noticed for few hours. Not a problem at all, as long as it keeps the skin hydrated and protects it from harmful sunrays too! The amount of moisturization may not be enough for severe winters or very dry skin ladies. For me, it was enough for winters in Varanasi!

The only inconvenience I faced was the packaging. It uses the same bottle that is used for Khadi shampoo, oil, conditioner and what not! As the sunscreen is little thick, you would need some time to adjust with the bottle. I have travelled with it, but be very careful while opening it when it is kept horizontally in the bag!

Overall, I am very happy with the product.This is THE sunscreen I was looking for and I am always going to have one of these.
