Today, I am going to review Khadi Oceanic Pearl Peeling Scrub. I was looking for a scrub that I can use both as a facial scrub and body scrub because most of the body scrubs are too harsh for my dry skin. So, I went to the Khadi store and found this beauty. When I first read the name I thought it’ll also work as a peel off mask (am I the only one?), but nothing like that was mentioned in the product description. Let’s see was it a yay or nay!
An ayurvedic scrub which removes dead cells, blackheads and scars from the skin. It makes the skin lustrous and healthy. It increases elasticity of the skin and gives nourishing smoothness.
INR 150 for 210 ml.
24 months from the date of manufacturing.
Do not rub on acne and pimples.
My Experience with Khadi Oceanic Pearl Peeling Scrub with Aloe Vera and Coca Oil:
It comes in regular khadi bottle packaging. The bottle is transparent and a flip cap is provided. Overall, very basic; nothing special.
I love its fragrance! It’s very sweet and calming.
This scrub is very creamy. It has a consistency of a thick body lotion. When I have to use it as a body scrub, I unscrew the cap because it’s difficult to get a lot of product out due to its texture. Its texture makes it great for dry skin, but oily skinned beauties must skip this one.
I have dry to normal skin which is acne prone, so finding the right product is always a tough job for me. This scrub isn’t harsh on my skin at all. I love massaging it on my face. Due to its creamy texture, the scrub particles are not scratchy and does the job of removing dead skin cells well. My skin feels smoother and brighter. It is very moisturising in nature. I don’t even feel the need to apply my body lotion after using it and my skin remains soft for a long time.
I couldn’t experiment the ‘no moisturizer’ thing on my face because I have to use a face mask every time I use a scrub and follow it up with a moisturizer ( I am scared that I’ll end up with large pores if I skip face mask after exfoliation). One odd thing is that it leaves some kind of fine glittery particles on my skin. They are very minute and disappear in a while. I guess it has something to do with the brightening effect.
I use it twice a week on my face. After a few uses, the blackheads were gone and my skin is now brighter and softer. I use it as a body scrub whenever I feel lazy and want to skip the lotion and just get dressed quickly. It keeps my dry skin moisturized. I also use it to give myself a quick manicure and pedicure after a long day out.

Would I Repurchase Khadi Oceanic Pearl Peeling Scrub with Aloe Vera and Coca Oil?
210 ml is a lot! So, as far as I know myself, I’ll be craving for something new. But, would like to give other variants a try. If other products don’t work as well for me, I’ll surely come back to this one.
