Khadi Sandal and Rose Face Pack

I not much of a face pack person and especially clay based face packs are a big no for me, but I bought this due to constant insistence of my cousin as she raves about these khadi face packs. I thought of giving it a try as it claims to contain some sandal and rose in it, and I love using rose on my skin for its fragrance and soothing properties, and of course the cooling effect provided by the sandalwood.
Price-90 INR for 50 grams
Claims– Sandal and rose herbal face pack powder. An ayurvedic product, which gives clean & polished look to the skin and improves the complexion.
How to use– For natural result mix powder with water or rose water to make paste. Apply it on face keep it 30 min then wash it with cool water.
Ingredients-Santalum albulus 20mg smploce racemose 100mg. rose albs 150 mg, itraus reticule blanco 150mg,azadirachta indica 85mg, rubia cordifolia 100mg, aas of zincum 10mg, preservatives 05, base q.s.[I don’t know what weird things are in this base ]
My take on Khadi Sandal and Rose Face Pack:
The face pack comes in regular khadi steel box packing. I love these small cute steel dabba, infact I like all miniature ones. Initially when I orderd it I thought that the packing may not be sturdy and I may get a damaged product.
Texture of product is more like a regular multani mitti face pack, finely milled powder. Smell of this face pack is what I love most, it smells faintly of sandalwood and some turmeric, you will definitely like it, it’s so soothing. My experience with this product is quite good. I apply this face pack with rose water as adding of milk will make my oily skin greasy. This face pack soothed my skin very well in just 15 minutes. Overall this is a nice face pack which added a glow to my skin [which lasted for few hours, but I don’t have any problem with it.]

Eventhough i didnt deliberarely apply this to my under eye area a little got spread there and that area got burned. Afterwards i stopped using all khadi products.
omg i think ur product is expired sonia.otherwise howcome a simple clay face pack burn u out .or may be u have extra sensitive skin *scared* *powder*
I guess these are meant for oil control only – what else can a clay pack do ? 😛 The container`s cute – very indianised.
