Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish Review

Hi everyone!

Today I am reviewing my most favorite body polish. I always have very strong opinions about the products I use – I either hate them or love them. This one, I definitely love. It has proven to be so amazing for my skin and this is actually my second tube. I have always faced the problem of ingrown hair, dull skin, dry skin and this product single handedly has sorted my skin woes. You have to read this review to see how awesome this product is!

My Experience with Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish:

It comes in a very functional and sobre white and yellow colored tube. It has all the details printed over it. The flip top cap is functional and always dispenses the right amount of product. You also get control over how much product is getting dispensed. But, each time I open the cap, some product automatically oozes out. 🙁 I won’t mind carrying this 200 ml tube along if I am going on a vacation as I know it won’t lead to product leakage, but some people might not like to carry it. You could take some product along in some other container though.

The skin on my body tends to remain dry, regardless of the season. I have to keep it moisturised using body butters and lotions, summer or winter. Exfoliating my skin with regular scrubs lead to dryness and roughness. But, this one is different! It has the perfect consistency for dry skin – thick, creamy and granule-rich. I like my scrubs to be a bit harsh, otherwise they do not impress me. This one offers everything I need. It spreads really easily and it is a cakewalk to massage this one on skin. The packaging says that it is gentle enough to be used daily, but I restrict its usage to maximum twice I week. Neither I have time nor patience to exfoliate every single day.

It smells a lot like coconut and honey to me, and I love that! Both of these are my favorite ingredients whenever I try any DIY recipe. It might be a bit harsh, and that’s how I love it, but it does not hurt my skin. I am always left with rashes if I ever use homemade coffee scrub, but not with this one. If you have sensitive skin, please take a patch test. Otherwise I think it is great for all skin types. It feels super luxurious and creamy, just as the brand claims. It has Shea butter and sweet almond oil and that’s why it feels very moisturising; or that’s why it does not dry out my skin.

As the name suggests, it contains honey and soy milk too. It actually leaves skin soft and smooth, again as the brand claims. Since this is my second tube, I can vouch for its efficacy. The occurrence of ingrown hair has reduced overtime and my skin has become more radiant, more clear. I use this a night before my waxing session and it definitely makes the entire process smoother.

It has become my HG body polish now. Believe me, I have tried many and none has been able to deliver results as good. I really love the way it cleanses and exfoliates my skin. Overtime my skin quality has improved and I can go easy on moisturisers, though I prefer using one immediately after my shower. If you are looking for an excellent body polish, and if this one fits your budget, go for it! It is expensive, for sure, but it is highly effective too. My previous tube lasted me around three months, so I feel it gives good value for money.
