Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak Review

Hello everyone,

I am loving Kiehl’s these days. I have recently discovered this brand and I am truly so happy that I found it. Well, I am an ardent patron of L’occitane and I trust nothing else for my hair. However,I wanted some change and wanted to try something new. I am already becoming a fan of Kiehl’s skin care products; So, I decided to try something from their hair care range.

The product I will be reviewing today is from Kiehl’s haircare range:Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak. Let’s see how did it work?!

Product Description:

Formulated for dehydrated, under-nourished, and damaged hair, our repairative masque provides intense conditioning, helping to repair severely weakened hair fibers by restoring its moisture content. Contains molecules that mimic the natural oils which coat healthy hair. Avocado Oil, Lemon Extract, and Olive Fruit Oil create a deeply nourishing treatment that moisturizes and strengthens hair. Ideal for hair weakened by overexposure to sun, chemical-processing, or excessive heat styling.

Directions for Use:

Shampoo. Rinse and squeeze off excess water. Apply a liberal amount of the masque to hair evenly, concentrating on hair ends. Allow formula to remain three to five minutes. Rinse well. Dry/damaged hair: use weekly. Extremely dry/severely damaged hair: use

My Experience with Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak:

Packaging: I picked this up at the Kiehl’s store after reading about it at their main website. Let’s start with the packaging, the hair pack comes in a bulky white plastic tub with a screw cap lip. The tub bears no graphics except all the directions, ingredients etc. The packaging is quite simple, boring and bulky. Totally non-travel friendly.

Product: The hair pack is pearly white in colour and the consistency is semi thick. One and half scoop is more than enough to cover medium length hair. The hair pack exactly smells like fresh olive oil. The smell is quite oil-ish and I am not at all a fan of it. If I precisely describe the smell then I would say, it is natural and real smell, like that of olive oil. Many of you might not find it tempting.

Results: Talking about the performance, I shampoo my hair and apply this mask on my damp hair and leave it on for 5 mins then thoroughly wash it off with water. The hair pack gives quite natural and average results.

The hair pack treatment managed to make my hair smooth and soft to touch and also manageable to a certain extent. The shine it imparted was negligible and here I was disappointed. But, I noticed that as my hair started drying the oil-ish smell turned into a fruity one…pheww! No oily smell at least post wash.

The results were pretty average and simple nothing extra-ordinary. The effect stays for a day or two. The tub is quite huge and would last for good long time depending upon the use (roughly say 5-6 months when used twice monthly).

Pros of Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak:

• Made hair smooth and manageable.
• Would last for a long time (quantity given is quite good).
• Did not cause any hairfall.

Cons of Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak:

• Bulky packaging.
• Expensive.
• Average performance.
• Contains silicons and parabens.

IMBB Rating:

3 out of 5

Will I Repurchase Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak?

No. Not at all as I am very very happy with my lovely L’occitane Repairing Hair Mask.

Will I Recommend Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak?

No girls. This isn’t a must have for your hair; you can easily skip this.

Conclusion:

This hair pack is quite average. The hair pack does not show instant results and the performance is nothing extraordinary.

I hope this review was helpful. Waiting for all your comments, suggestions and corrections. Till then, take care and stay beautiful girls.
