I am glad to review my first hair serum on IMBB which did well and it is the Kiehl’s Silk Groom Serum from stylist series that helps exclusively for straightening.
Price: 18 USD for 75 ml/2.5 floz

My Experience with Kiehl’s Silk Groom Serum:
As always, this purchase happened to be a common purchase between the two sisters. Since I go ahead with my sister’s careful and well picked products, I started using this hair serum for my hair. It is very unusual of me to switch products especially when it comes to my hair. I love it to bits although I am too much into hair care and the same goes with my skin. I am not experimental with the product ranges or switching companies but then I thought let me try this one, why not? Plus I forgot to carry mine so I was left with no choice. So I am going to go ahead and share my experience here.
Packaging: The packaging is cute and eye catching and looks girly and too simple for a serum. The packaging immediately clicked for me and also the nozzle which is a twist type; it helps avoid spillage. The transparent portion has ‘stylist series’ written on it along with the product specifications on a clear body which makes things easier for use. You can decide eventually if you can continue with this for your hair type and repurchase or not.
Consistency, texture and finish: The serum is not too runny or thick. It is a light-weight serum but that can be a con with time, from what I have observed. If you preserve it well, this consistency should work just fine with every use. It imparts a great texture to your hair. The immediate silky texture it reflects on your hair along the perfect shine, oh my! The catch is with this quantity and incredible shine, how long would you go with the price tag is what you must think about!
Overall performance: The overall performance of the serum is incredible as long as you can overlook the price. This serum keeps fly-away at bay for a long period of time and helps to keep your straightened hair in place. This product is a boon to styling as it lets the hairdo stay. The serum’s blend that is enriched with vitamin E contains natural oils derived from sunflower seed, sesame seeds and soy beans that keeps your hair frizz-free and well tamed leaving behind a gorgeous glossy shine, perfect for styling and grooming.
Usage: I doubt if this quantity can suffice to tame serious frizzy hair type and help in detangling them for regular use. I see this as the best hair serum to use on wavy and curly hair on a regular basis and for styling purposes. It can be used easily on super straight hair and that too effortlessly. I would recommend you to use it on hair type like mine, when you go in for messy hair dos to keep them in place. Also if you got some interesting bangs and feel like leaving your naturally wavy shoulder-length hair loose, then just go in for some of this serum for a great silky-soft texture and shine. Reserve this high-end product for styling purposes and not for regular basis which would be a wise move incase you have fallen for it; that is what I do!
What I wonder about this serum is, is this small bottle really worth repurchase and worth for regular use and I end up sighing. I am still making up my mind ladies but if you think it is a deserving styling serum, go ahead and try it!

• Offers a soft and silky texture leaving behind a gorgeous shine.
• Enriched with a blend of Vitamin E from natural oils (Sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and soy beans).
• Contains a gentle eucalyptus oil like fragrance.
Cons of Kiehl’s Silk Groom Serum:
• Pricey.
• Availability in India.
• Consistency – a little thick.
• Expensive to be as everyday hair serum.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Kiehl’s Silk Groom Serum?
If you think it is not heavy on your pockets and your hair deserves it, go ahead and try it. I would not repurchase it because I do not find anything extraordinary in this hair serum compared to the current serum I have been using.
Verdict: A perfect styling and grooming hair serum that you can invest on and be certain to get good results.
