Kiko has something really new and unique to offer. When I saw Kiko 105 Metallic Burgundy Eyetech Look Eyeshadow online, I was a bit skeptical to buy and hence, ordered only one. But, now I feel that I should have ordered all of them.

The packaging is really different. It comes in a sleek pen style, wherein the eyeshadow is in a minuscule plastic bottle right at the top of the pen, in an upside down manner. This is packed in a cardboard box.
Automatic eyeshadow pen with advanced formula that releases immediate and even colour. The new, creamy and long-lasting texture contained in the cap creates a fine layer that perfectly adheres to the eyelid. For easy application, the sponge applicator has a new, more defined tip and is ideal for drawing precise lines that can be smudged for a smoky look. The pen format makes the product simple to use and practical, allowing you to keep more than one colour handy for quick, daily touch-ups and different finishes. For immediate comfort that lasts all day, the formula is enriched with soft, smooth wax. Long-lasting formula tested for up to 10 hours of wear. Eyetech Look Eyeshadow is available in 18 bright new shades, from shiny and pearlescent to natural and matte.
How To Use?
Since, it is little different, I have depicted the how to use section from the company website for ease of understanding.
My Experience with Kiko 105 Metallic Burgundy Eyetech Look Eyeshadow:
Metallic Burgundy stands very true to its name. It is very similar to dark burnt burgundy color. The eyeshadow is thick and creamy in consistency. Hence, it does not fall or leak from the small bottle, even though it is upside down. The finishing of this one is very smooth and radiant and has a metallic tint in it. No shimmers or glitter. It settles down to being matte but shows that tint of metallic effect. It is thick in consistency and a little difficult to blend. Also, it settles down fast and one will have to work on it quickly.
The applicator is really unique and I have not seen one like this before. There is a pointed sponge at the tip of the pen. There seems to be a spring at the bottom of the applicator right inside the body of the pen, which is black in color. Hence, when you shut the pen using the small eyeshadow pot (upside down) the eyeshadow gets deposited on the applicator. You can dab the eye shadow with the applicator on the lid, but it is difficult blending with it as the applicator keeps going back and forth due to the spring. So, use fingers or a blending brush.
The pigmentation is very good and just a little is needed, as single application gives full justice to the colour. It is extremely lightweight and so you can layer it too and it would not feel heavy on the eyelids. Also, it stays on for around 5-6 hours. It generally does not budge, but oily eyelids will make it shine more and so an oil absorbent eyeshadow base is highly recommended. It is not waterproof.
It is an amazing shade for the Indian skin tone. This one can be used to achieve both a defined effect and a smudged look. I love the color so much that I do not mind ignoring the cons.
It is totally adorable.
