My Experience with Kiko #205 Golden Coral Infinity Eyeshadow:

The eyeshadow comes in a small round pan, which has a lid to it. The pan is packed into a plastic tray that secures it firmly and the tray is packed in a cardboard carton. One can either use the pan along with its lid or remove the lid and put the pan in magnetic empty palettes available separately with KIKO.

The ingredients are mentioned on the back of the cardboard carton and the shade number is written on the top. The shade number is also mentioned at the bottom of the eyeshadow pan. Although, the name is mentioned on the website, it is nowhere to be seen on the eyeshadow pot or the carton.

Golden Coral is a peachy orangey shade with golden specks in it. It has shimmery finish. The eye shadow is not at all chalky and has an amazing smooth finishing to it .The texture is very soft and smooth. Although, there are shimmer particles in the eye shadow, they are in no way gritty or rough. The sparkling of the eyeshadow is subtle and not over the top. It is kind of classy. This one is a very subtle color and very apt for daily use.

I do not mind using it to office either as it is not very prominent in catching any attention. If you want it to pop out, then use a similar color as base and top it up with this shade. It is easily blendable and the shimmer particles look evenly distributed on the eye lids.

The pigmentation is good and what you see here in the swatches is just single application and the color can be built up to a darker hue.  But, I personally feel the charm of this color is to be worn with a light hand.

The staying power is good. Kiko claims it to be 12 hours, I have not worn it for that long. But yes, it did stay on me for like 5-6 hours, eventually fading away. I used an eyeshadow base and the color looked more intense than applying it directly on the lid. Also, I did not notice any glitter or shimmer fallout.

It does not seem to crease on oily lids, but yes it does wash off on oily lids much sooner if an oil absorbent base or primer is not used. The shimmer particle stays and the color fades away on oily lids. It does not seem waterproof and can be easily removed with water.

Golden Coral is very pretty and I have started using it daily to office for my no makeup look.
