Today, I am going to review Kiko Eyeshadow 207 (Mat Papaya). I was looking for a bright summer eyeshadow to be mostly used as a transition color. I didn’t want to spend much since the summer days are very limited where I live. So this brand jumped to my mind and I picked up this product. Kiko has a wide variety of eye makeup products and here is my first eye makeup product from Kiko.
Innovative, highly pigmented eyeshadow for our repositionable [CLICS] System™ for instant, intense and even color release. Extreme coverage and can be used wet and dry. Its technologically advanced formula contains special ingredients that guarantee the highest performance eyeshadow for outstanding results.
Its texture is surprisingly velvety and comfortable to the touch and with a unique consistency for buildable, perfectly blendable color. Infinity Eyeshadow is pure, shiny and has long-lasting hold of up to 12 hours*.
Hypoallergenic = formulated to ensure minimum risk of allergic reactions.
4.9 € for 2 gms approximately 350 INR for 2gms
The outer packaging is a square cardboard box. Inside is a circular plastic box with a transparent lid showing the color of the product. The box is very thin and handy to carry.
How to apply:
For a blendable effect with greater depth I apply eyeshadow with a dry applicator brush.
For even richer and bolder color I apply with a moistened applicator.
To emphasize the look, I choose to line my waterline with a black eye pencil. Eye liner and mascara would definitely add more glamour.
I would apply more layers for a more intense effect.
My take on Kiko 207 Mat Papaya Infinity Eyeshadow:
The pigmentation is not that great. It looks deep orange in color in the case. But when applied, it is hardly seen. You need to pile loads of product for it to build up. For the swatches I had to apply quite a few layers. I also tried using it as a blush. It did give very light orange blush effect. For days, when you want to go with “No makeup – makeup” I would prefer this. Staying power is not that great either. It feels chalky when applied and kind of fades very quickly. The product claims to last for 10 hours but I don’t agree one bit.
Pros of Kiko 207 Mat Papaya Infinity Eyeshadow:
• Perfect summer color
• Can be used as a blush too
• Ophthalmologically tested
• Not expensive
Cons of Kiko 207 Mat Papaya Infinity Eyeshadow:
• Not highly pigmented
• Chalky consistency
Will I Buy Kiko 207 Mat Papaya Infinity Eyeshadow?
Not really. I think I will rarely get to use it.
Do I Recommend Kiko 207 Mat Papaya Infinity Eyeshadow?
If you don’t own any bright colors and want to give it a try, then go for it.
