My Experience with Kiko #244 Pearly Orchid Violet Infinity Eyeshadow:

The eyeshadow comes in a small round pan, which has a lid to it. The pan is packed into a plastic tray that secures it firmly and the tray is packed in a cardboard carton. One can either use the pan along with its lid or remove the lid and put the pan in magnetic empty palettes available separately with Kiko.

The ingredients are mentioned on the back of the cardboard carton and the shade number is written on the top. The shade number is also mentioned at the bottom of the eyeshadow pan. Although, the name is mentioned on the website, it is nowhere to be seen on the eyeshadow pot or the carton.

#244 Pearly Orchid Violet, actually looks like some version of brown, when you look in the pan. But, the name on their website and the swatches itself reveal a different shade altogether. It is actually a very light burnt burgundy shade. There are no shimmers in it. Also, it is not a complete matte shade. It has this very pretty subtle pearl finish to it. The texture is very soft and smooth. It is a very pretty daily day wear shade. It adds a kind of depth to the eyes. Blending wise, it is super easy. Also, when you step out in the sun, there is a little hint of violet in it as well.

The pigmentation is good and what you see here in the swatches is just a single application and the color can be built to a darker hue. The staying power is good. Kiko claims it to be 12 hours, I have not worn it for that long. But, yes it did stay on me for like 5-6 hours, eventually fading away. I used an eyeshadow base and the color looked more intense. Also, it does not seem to crease on oily lids but yes, it does wash off on oily lids much sooner, if an oil absorbent base or primer is not used. These are in no way waterproof.

Pearly Orchid Violet is a pretty shade. I think fair to medium skin tone beauties can carry it off really well.
