I am not so much into lip pencils, but after all the lip pencil posts on IMBB, I was tempted to buy one. So, here you go with Kiko #702 Coral Smart Lip Pencil.

My Experience with Kiko #702 Coral Smart Lip Pencil:

The Lip pencil comes wrapped in a plastic covering. The body of the pencil is black in color and the cap is silver. The bottom part of the pencil is color coded and represents the shade it belongs to. The number of the shade is written at the bottom on the body of the pencil.

Kiko #702 Coral Smart Lip Pencil is a beautiful coral shade, which looks more like orange, when swatched. It is a wooden pencil that needs to be sharpened to get the precise lining. I have used this lip pencil for 4-5 times till now, but I have had no need to sharpen it yet. I personally like such pencils, as I am fanatic about neat lining. I am not much comfortable with the twist up ones as the tips go blunt pretty soon. These lip pencils are very creamy and soft in texture and the application is very smooth. Although, it is creamy and soft, still it does not breaks. It has this perfect balance of being soft and strong at the same time.

It does not tug or pull on the lips. The finishing is matte. My lips are very dry and I find this pencil also a bit dry, so I could not use them as an overall color on the lips. I used them only to line the lips.

The pigmentation looks good when swatched on the hand but my lips have a pigmented lining already and the pencil just does not show up on my lips. I tried to click pictures a numerous times, but it was just not visible.

The staying power is for around 4-5 hours. But, it would not survive much through snacking, drinking water and definitely not any meal. It does not seem to bleed outside the lip line and it is definitely not waterproof and can be removed easily by water also.

All in all, this one is a pretty shade but not for my pigmented lined lips. I have two other shades, whose reviews will be up in sometime and I hope they work for me.
