Hello Beautiful Ladies
We all always want our eyeshadows to show up on the eyelids in its full capacity. Since, the efforts we put in to do all the eye makeup, we want it to stay as long as possible. The best solution for this is to invest in a good eye primer base. They not only neutralize your eyelids to match up with your skin tone, but also give a flawless base for eye makeup to start with. To do this, one needs a good eye makeup base. So, for any eye makeup to look flawless and to last long, one must prep the eye first. Today’s review will be on Kiko Eye Base Primer.
The primer comes in a pearly white tube, packed in a cardboard box. The ingredients are mentioned on the back of the cardboard box. The tube has a nozzle and hence, making it easy to use.
Fixing base for eyeshadow. A creamy texture made from a smoothing and matifying powder base. This supports the application, fixing of the eyeshadow, making it extra long lasting over time. Its light pigmentation neutralizes the tone of your eyelids emphasizing the resulting eyeshadow colour. Hypoallergenic, i.e. formulated to ensure minimum instance of allergic reactions. Ophthalmologically tested. Paraben free. Fragrance free.
My Experience on Kiko Eye Base Primer:
Kiko Eye Base Primer resembles a concealer and is in light beige color. They do not have any range of shades available in this. The consistency of the primer is thick, but not thick enough to not be able to spread and blend it. Initially, it feels to be a little stiff and thick in the tube and we might tend to press the tube real hard. So, be careful, as the tube has a nozzle and extra primer cannot be returned to the tube. Only a small drop is needed for each eye. This will go for long time.
You can see in the swatches that it is easy to blend. I did not blend it completely for picture purpose. Although, it looks whiter in the swatches, it has the capacity to blend itself completely to match the skin tone. It is creamy and not at all chalky or patchy. It settles to a matte finish. Also, it does not feel heavy on the eyelids. Kiko, also has a pearly eye base primer in their collection.
The eyeshadows look more bright and dark when applied on the primer. The performance is, what I was expecting. The eye shadow lasts at least 3-4 hours more than usual time. I do not see any creasing or deposits in the folds of the eyelids. I am NC30 in Mac and this shade suits me real well. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
Pros of Kiko Eye Base Primer:
