Kiko Milano is one brand which I find very economical with superior quality. Although how often I get to buy Kiko depends on how often hubby dear travels to Germany. But now, Kiko has come to India as well. So let’s get started with the review of Kiko Milano 929 Fuchsia Smart Lipstick.

My Experience with Kiko Milano 929 Fuchsia Smart Lipstick:

Packaging:
The Lipstick comes in a rectangular cardboard box with the name of the brand, number of the lipstick and the ingredients list mentioned on it. The lipstick bullet is housed in a black matte plastic body. It has a turn and twist up mechanism. Also, the cap shuts with a click and has an upper hollow on the lid for the ease of closure. It looks classy and compact. The lid shuts with a click and is not prone to opening on its own and hence can be easy to carry around in the bag or wallet.

Shade:
This shade is true to its name ‘Fuchsia’. The bullet looks a little neonish when seen under the sun but actually it is not that dark. I would say it is a very pretty pink shade that would make you feel and look younger. The best part is that it is not over-the-top loud and hence a very decent shade for everyday wear.

Texture and Pigmentation:
Texture wise, Fuchsia is soft and creamy. Although I say it is creamy, it does not crumble and the bullet is hard and strong. I would say that it looks like a combination of a soft, nourishing lipstick and a lip balm. It glides on the lips easily and does not tug or pull. It has a glossy finish to it. As a thumb rule that I follow, exfoliate your lips and use a lip balm beneath the lipstick.

Shades like Fuchsia can accentuate areas which are not exfoliated properly on the lips. The pigmentation of this lipstick is something I really like. You can play soft and swipe it once for a translucent pinkish shade or swipe on multiple times to get an intense pink shade. You can play along with the intensity of the color. Multiple swipes do not feel heavy at all.

Lasting Power:
Although it claims to last long, mine lasts for only 4-5 hours. It won’t survive a meal. Also, this lipstick is not waterproof or cutlery stain proof. It does transfer. While fading away, it leaves a very pretty pink tint, which I really love.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Kiko Milano 929 Fuchsia Smart Lipstick?
I would definitely recommend these lipsticks. What better could you get at this price? I would not repurchase these because I want to try new shades. All in all, I love Kiko products and you should try them at least once.
