My Experience with KIKO Milano Gossamer Emotion Creamy Lipstick #112 Burgundy:
Packaging:
This is so far the most classy lipstick, that I own. The lipstick is packed in a black cardboard box with the number of the lipstick mentioned on the top and the ingredients mentioned on the sides. Now, comes the most interesting part. The lipstick bullet is housed in a grey and gold metallic tube. The cap or lid of the tube is in black metallic cover and is as long as the tube and covers it completely from top to bottom. There is a cute little button on the top of the lid with the logo of KK engraved into it, which when pressed pushes down the inner tube of the lipstick and opens up. The lid closes with a shut and will not open up on its own. The number of the lipstick is mentioned at the bottom and the name of the shade is mentioned on the website. Hence, the lipstick is a travel-friendly one.
Shade:
Burgundy, as the name suggests, is a pretty reddish plum shade. It looks more like red colour in the tube but, when applied looks like a combination of plum with red undertones. On the website, it looked more like red wine but, in reality, it is more of reddish plum. It is a kind of shade which will not require any other makeup product to brighten up your face. It is a tricky shade and if carried with a lot of confidence, it can be worn to office places as well. Otherwise, it will look loud. But, in no way it is over the top bright shade. There are no shimmers in it. Also, it is not glossy. It settles to a satiny creamy finish.
Texture and Pigmentation:
The texture of this lipstick is very smooth and creamy. It does not tug or pull on the lips and glides on with ease. Although it is creamy, the formula seems to be nice and the lipstick does not crumble on the lips. If the lips are not exfoliated, your lipstick will look uneven. The pigmentation is superb. I mean just one swipe and you are done. The colour is so bright, pigmented and it gives full coverage to pigmented lips. There isn’t much difference in single and multiple swipes. Also, layering does not make it look uneven or heavy. It feels very light on the lips. The satiny finish makes the lips look luscious.
Lasting Power:
This shade lasted for more than 5 hours. It did fade away a little after munching and snacks. Since the colour is so bright and dark it still leaves a strong colour on the lips. It does transfer to the cutlery but it’s very minimal. It is not a waterproof lipstick but, it will require a makeup remover to remove it completely. It has a slight vanilla smell to it.

Just go out and grab these lipsticks. I want to try other shades from this range too. Totally love this one. If you are looking for this lipstick, search this lipstick directly on google and you might find it easily. KIKO has different names of same lipsticks and shades in different countries. Moreover, I have noticed that if anything is out of stock then they don’t show it on their website. Hence sometimes it becomes difficult to locate a certain product on their website.
