Kiko Milano Lip Scrub Ingredients

My Experience with Kiko Milano Lip Scrub:

The concept of lip scrub is new to me and I have never used one before. Most of the brands sell expensive lip scrubs and offer a small quantity. So, when Kiko launched in India and when I saw this lip scrub, I knew I had to buy it straight away. The quantity offered was more and the price was also reasonable. This has been out of stock largely owing to its huge popularity, however it recently got restocked and then I didn’t miss the chance to grab it. Let’s begin with the details now.

Kiko Milano Lip Scrub Packaging

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The lip scrub comes packed in an outer cardboard box in rose gold colour that has a shiny finish to it. Inside this box, the lip scrub comes in a lipstick bullet. The bullet is steel in colour and the mechanism is similar to swivelling of a lipstick. You just swivel it and use the desired amount of product as per your needs. The packaging is very hygienic because, it comes in a bullet-type packaging which eliminates unwanted use of hands. All the product details are mentioned on the body of the cardboard cover including the ingredient list and description details. Nothing other than the brand logo is printed on the lips scrub bullet. The bullet is sturdy and is small in size, so great for travel purposes. The packaging has no big cons, so I love it.

Kiko Milano Lip Scrub Tube

Coming to the lip scrub texture, it comes in 4.2 gm off-white lipstick cake that looks very fine initially. The lip scrub has an amazing fragrance; it is more of a buttery smell which is soothing to the sense. Since the smell is not over powering, it will not bother sensitive noses. Personally, I love the pleasant fragrance and feel like eating off the bullet. I know it sounds crazy, but I’m sure even you will feel the same.

Kiko Milano Lip Scrub Cap Open

Since I have never used a lip scrub before, I thought it would be harsh just like face scrubs because it is meant for exfoliation purposes. But contrary to my expectations, this lip scrub appeared just the opposite. The texture of the lip scrub was smooth with some soft granules. The granules are super nice in texture which makes it feel light, slightly coarse and not harsh on the skin. I used the bullet in small circular directions slowly. It felt so light and comfortable during application. But yes, avoid excess use to stop unwanted flaking off the product.

Kiko Milano Lip Scrub With Twist up[

After application of the lip scrub with the bullet I waited for a while and then I started massaging my lips with fingers in circular motions to get rid of the dead skin cells. Then, I rinsed off the excess amount with a tissue. Well, that is all about the procedure and you can use it 2-3 times a week depending on the problem. Let’s talk about the results now.

The lip scrub works well to buff away dead skin cells on and around your lips and smoothens out flaky and dry skin as well. I love to apply this scrub prior to application of matte lipstick to get rid of any flakiness and smoother application. It actually heals my lips and preps them for lippie usage. It leaves a perfect base to put on your lipstick and you don’t have any bumpy chapped bits clinging onto your lips anymore. All you have to do is use a small amount on your lips and get done with the lip exfoliation. Since a very small amount is needed, it will last me for months.

Kiko Milano Lip Scrub With Cap

This lip scrub contains extracts of shea butter, so my lips feel instantly nourished after using this. They look smoother, softer and fuller and it gives a good feel. It also helps in hydrating my skin. I feel it does the work of a lip exfoliater, primer and a lip balm all at one. I can skip using a lip balm and a primer after this as my lips already look prepped and don’t need additional care. It also helps to add a good pump to the lips. If you have tough lip pigmentation, you can get rid of it with routine use of this product. It has also helped me in getting rid of lip tan during summer. They look pinker and healthier now.

Kiko Milano Lip Scrub Bullet

The product has worked so good on my lips that it is tough not to but it again. It is easy to use, mess-free and free from use of parabens. My lips get rid of flakiness and I don’t have to waste time on prepping and priming. You know what I am a bit lazy and this does wonders in no time.

Honestly, this is totally amazing and it hard not to fall in love with it. It is actually one of the best lip products I have used so far. I am sure it will soon join the list of the cult favorites of my skin care list. I highly recommend it the readers. You can save time and at the same time pamper your delicate lips in the best way. I am super-duper happy with the purchase.
