I usually do not like colored lip glosses and prefer nude ones. I recently came across this glittery one and decided to pick it up. Today’s review is all about Kiko Milano Pencil Lip Gloss in the shade 16 Deep Pink. Read on to know more!

My Experience with Kiko Milano Pencil Lip Gloss 16 Deep Pink:
The lip pencil comes in a plastic sealed package. The lip gloss is a jumbo pencil and the color of the shade is present on the base. The lip pencil is black in color and has a black cap. The cap fits perfectly and there are no chances that it would open. There is very little information present on the pencil. There are 12 shades available in this range. I picked up the last one as it had a pinkish tone. I like the pencil and I can easily carry it around. The only issue is that it needs a special jumbo sharpener which has to be bought separately.
The lip gloss is very creamy and spreads very well. But, it feels a bit sticky on the lips when applied. The finish is glossy and sheer. The product glides very easily without any issues and doesn’t pull the lips. It almost feels like a liquid gloss when applied. The product, however, settles between the dryness and thus, it has to be applied to well-moisturized lips. The product doesn’t provide any moisturization to the lips and this is just a gloss.
The shade is not deep pink as it states; it is a light pink with a lot of glitter in it. The gloss doesn’t cover any pigmentation on the lips. The gloss feels a bit greasy on the lips. The finish is sheer with a pinkish hue. The glitters shine in the sun which is amazing and I love it for that. I usually top this one on matte lipsticks for a shine! The product is not pigmented. Since it is soft, there are also chances that it would crumble. When the temperature is high during the sunny days, the product has the tendency to melt and become soft.
The glittery particles spread out and I hate it. The days I apply the gloss alone, I have glitter all over my face. The longevity of the lip gloss is around 2-3 hours, which is disappointing. It does transfer and reapplication is often needed. It doesn’t survive meals or drinks. The product doesn’t bleed. The gloss can be used along with a lipstick but I wouldn’t recommend it alone. The product is claimed to have vitamin E present. I wouldn’t probably buy the product again; this is not something I would like to have in my vanity! So, summing up:

• Feels sticky and greasy on lips
• Settles between dryness and no moisturization factor
• Doesn’t cover any pigmented lips
• Poor longevity
• Transfers and doesn’t survive meals/drinks
• The glitter spreads everywhere
