I was in Paris a few days ago, and even though I have been visiting Paris every year, this year was quite different. I spent most of my time shopping for skincare and beauty products and a few clothes, instead of sightseeing. My husband solely blames IMBB for this shopping addiction. 😀 I picked up a few products that were recommended on IMBB and Madam Gupshup and a few new ones, too. I will be reviewing all of them soon. Today’s review is all about nail polishes. Read on to know more about these Kiko Milano Power Pro Nail Lacquers.

My Experience with Kiko Milano Power Pro Nail Lacquer #26 Pink Beige, #40 Black, #101 Milk White:

Kiko Milano Power Pro Nail Lacquer comes in a rounded square glass bottle with a bulky cap. I assumed that the cap was rounded; but when I opened it, I realised that it is just a pseudo cap and there is another cap with the brush for application. The screw cap makes it travel-friendly as it closes tight. 

The quality of the brush is pretty good. I can apply the nail polish evenly without any hassle. The brush is dense and enables easy application. The width of the brush makes it easy to apply the nail polish.

There is very little information available on the bottle and you have to look it up to know more. The brush has an ergonomic design, which makes it easy to hold and also facilitates easy application. There are 45 shades available in this range. I had only one shade and recently I added 2 more to my stash.

#26 Pink Beige:

This is a beautiful nude rose-beige shade. The colour is opaque. The finish is shiny and glossy.

#40 Black:

I love this shade. I picked up this one because of its intense pigmentation. Just one coat gives the intense gellac-like finish. The shade is great, even for creating any nail art.

#101 Milk White:

I picked this shade because I wanted to create a French manicure. But, the colour is white-transparent in colour. The shade is not opaque and is glossy. It doesn’t provide intense pigmentation. I am not a big fan of this colour and creating a French manicure with this colour is a bit tricky.

The colours look quite different than the swatches on their website. Like the name suggests, the colours are pretty pro and work well, with or without base or top coat. The finish is glossy and opaque. The nail polish dries pretty fast; within a minute, the nail polish is dry.

Two coats are more than enough to achieve a gellac-like look. The pigmentation depends on every shade. The nail polish lasts around 5 days without a base and top coat and more than a week with base and top coats. The nail polish stays shiny for all the days and then it wears off.

The colours do not leave any stain and come off easily when removed with a nail polish remover. The nail polish has a tendency to chip off. Overall, I like the nail lacquer, but I would like to try warm colours this time.

I would not repurchase the same colours but will look out for more options.
