Kiko Milano Pure Clean Water Micellar Cleansing Water Review

Following the entire cleansing routine is really tiring after a long day out/night party. Micellar cleansing water is my holy grail whenever I’m lazy to clean my face. I feel micellar water should be much more common in people’s skincare routine and if you are a beginner, this is definitely a good choice for you. I had picked the Kiko Milano Micellar Water quite some time back and I have been using it for a couple of days. So, let’s see how this product has turned out.

Kiko Milano Pure Clean Water Micellar Cleansing Water

Product Description:
Micellar cleansing water to remove impurities and residual makeup from the face. Its mild cleansing action is designed to wash the skin without damaging it. The formula contains water lily extract and silk derivatives. The product is lightweight, easy to apply and feels wonderful on the skin: a velvety embrace that instantly freshens and brightens the skin. The dispenser is designed to ensure that the product can be directly applied to the cotton pad without waste and without turning the bottle upside down. Delicately scented with notes of magnolia, peach and sandalwood. Ideal for normal to dry skin. Dermatologically tested on delicate skin. Non-comedogenic.

My Experience with Kiko Milano Pure Clean Water Micellar Cleansing Water:

The micellar water comes in a huge, round-shaped, translucent plastic bottle. There is a label at the back bearing the entire product-related information. The bottle has a typical flip top cap that shuts tightly, making this bottle leak-proof. Gently press the dispenser with a cotton ball to soak it with the product and then gently wipe over the face to remove makeup.

Firstly, the packaging is basic and easy to use, but it is too huge and bulky to carry around during travelling, and there are no smaller size options available. The micellar water is clear and has runny, water-like consistency.

The formula is lightweight and leaves the skin clean without leaving any residue behind. I use it after my makeup wipe to get rid of the leftover makeup. I use this product almost every day, sometimes twice. It has almost completely replaced my regular cleanser. I have never had any issues with oiliness or sensitivity, and my skin is combination and somewhat sensitive so that’s saying something.

I must say it does remove makeup very easily but for the tough eye makeup I really do rub a bit more and I do need to wash my face after cleansing to get rid of the sticky feeling. This product is to be used somewhere between cleanser and a toner, if you have layered your face with heavy makeup. However, with light makeup or just to wipe off the dirt at the end of the day, the micellar water alone can do the job. Also, this product has a strong aquatic fragrance that feels refreshing. The only downside of this micellar water is that it doesn’t help in removing stubborn eye and lip makeup.

Pros of Kiko Milano Pure Clean Water Micellar Cleansing Water:

  • Easy to use packaging.
  • Removes residual makeup easily.
  • Takes away all the dirt.
  • Keep skin soft and smooth.
  • Smells fresh.
  • Suits sensitive skin.

Cons of Kiko Milano Pure Clean Water Micellar Cleansing Water:

  • Bulky packaging.
  • No size options available.
  • Takes time to remove stubborn eye makeup.
