I wanted to try a turquoise eyeliner and, finally, gave Kiko Milano Smart Colour Eye Pencil – 11 Matte Turquoise a try. Now, let’s get into the details.

My Experience with Kiko Milano Smart Colour Eye Pencil 11 Matte Turquoise:

The pencil itself is a wooden crayon with a square black cap. There is a color-coded mark at the end to identify the shade easily. It is a sharpen-able pencil but no sharpener has been provided with it. Overall, the pencil looks nice and is easy to carry around.

The shade ‘Matte Turquoise’ is a beautiful bright turquoise shade that looks so pretty on the eyes. This shade is quite light and perfect to be used as a highlighting shade on the waterline; it works beautifully to create various creative eye makeup too.

It doesn’t any shimmer and I love this fact. Also, the shade is well pigmented and requires few strokes to get the full color payoff on the eyes. This eyeliner has a soft and creamy texture, which glides well. It goes on smoothly even on the waterline – without any tugging.

I love this formula and I can blend it or smudge it to get a nice natural look. It never feels patchy or dry and stays comfortable on the waterline. It sets to a nice soft matte texture that looks nice and it’s quite easy to use as well.

Drawing various types of lines on both my lash lines is pretty easy. For a sharp winged liner, the tip needs to be perfect though. Otherwise, it gives a perfect even stoke with a single application. But due to its creamy formula, the shade is not completely smudge-proof or transfer-proof.

It does smudge after a few hours; it looks so messy with touching or rubbing the eyes. If I apply it on the upper lash line, the formula transfers and looks faded too. It performs best on the waterline and doesn’t look much messy.

It stays on for around 3-4 hours, and after that, it looks faded. Also, my watery corners look smudged too. It’s quite easy to remove. The staying power is poor and I don’t like the messy effect.

Overall:
It’s a beautiful shade but it has poor quality that won’t last properly on the eyes.
