Today’s review will be on KIKO Ultra Glossy Stylo #805 Strawberry Pink Lipstick. This is not a new product from KIKO lipsticks. Last year, I had reviewed the shades #803 Pink Flamingo, #809 Ruby Red and #815 Rhododendron Pink and recently, I reviewed the shade #807 Red Coral. Read on to know more.

My Experience with KIKO Milano Ultra Glossy Stylo SPF 15 – #805 Strawberry Pink:
Packaging:
The Lipstick comes in a rectangular cardboard box with the name of the brand, the shade number of the lipstick and the ingredients list mentioned on it. The lipstick bullet is housed in a black matte plastic body. The lipstick bullet comes right up to the brim of the casing and hence, one has to be extra careful. The shade number is also mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick. The name of KIKO product is mentioned on their website but, not on the product itself. It has a turn and twist up mechanism. It looks classy and compact. The lid shuts with a click and is not prone to opening on its own and hence it is travel-friendly.
Shade:
Strawberry Pink is a muted pink shade with brownish undertones. It also has a slight tint of redness in it. If you mix a little nude brown lipstick with a muted pink lipstick, you will get this shade. Although on the website it looks like a rosy plum shade, but, when seen in pictures and reality I though it might be a little more opaque and bright. On my lips, it looked like a little glossy pinkish plum tint. It is totally an everyday shade. This shade will compliment all the skin tones. On highly pigmented lips, this shade might look like a simple gloss.
Texture and Pigmentation:
Strawberry Pink Lipstick is super smooth and soft. It glides on the lips effortlessly without any tugging or pulling. Although it is soft and creamy, the bullet is strong and will not easily break. If the lips are not exfoliated properly then these lipsticks might crumble a bit. They have a glossy finish and I find them moisturising enough to not feel dry. Bu,t I would still advice to use a lip balm beneath. They don’t feel heavy on the lips but, too many layers feels a bit sticky. Also, there is not much difference in color when you go for single and multiple swipes.
Lasting Power:
This shade lasts for around 4-5 hours. It won’t survive a meal. Also, they don’t seem to be waterproof or cutlery stain proof. It transfers too. While fading away it leaves a pinkish stain on the lips and the glossiness and the stickiness also fade off, even if layering was done.
It is a good daily wear shade but, it’s not something you need to have in your stash.

- Not waterproof.
- Does not survive meals.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase KIKO Milano Ultra Glossy Stylo SPF 15 – #805 Strawberry Pink?
No for both. Frankly speaking, these are very normal lipsticks and normal shade ones which can be found in other brands as well. I am not saying that they are bad, it is just that I don’t feel that you absolutely need them unless you really want to try stuff from this brand. Also, since they are very economical it won’t hurt your wallets if you want to try them out. You can definitely skip these and invest in better ones.
