My Experience with Kleancolor 07 Soft Rose Femme Lipstick:

The packaging of the lipstick is average. The brand has given a feminine curvy shape to the lipstick tube. But the lipstick tube looks kind of flimsy. The only thing that I like about this lipstick packaging is its color-coded body that helps to easily spot the shade from makeup stash during rush hours. The clear cap helps to see the lipstick shade from outside. I store my lipsticks upside down as they have shade details at the base. But these lipsticks’ caps have a color-coded top so do not need to place these upside down.

The cap fits tightly and makes the packaging travel-friendly. A part of the lipstick bullet remains outside the tube, hence I need to be a little careful while placing the cap else it may damage the bullet. One more thing that I do not like about the packaging of all the Kleancolor lipsticks is that the lipstick bullet gets detached from the base and sticks to the cap. As I have got these online, almost the entire collection had the same problem and I had received the damaged tips of the lipstick bullets. Overall, I am not a fan of the packaging as it has some flaws.

The shade “Soft Rose” is a very natural looking light pink shade. The shade is very pretty and it has some fine silver coloured micro shimmers that give it a frosty finish. The shimmers are subtle and do not look chunky on the lips. Though I am not much a fan of frosty lip colours still I quite like this shade. It looks really pretty on the lips. It is a perfect everyday pink that can be carried anywhere easily. So, if you are among those who like subtle pink lipsticks, you may like it.

But, the frosty finish is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea; still I would say its finish is lovely. Do check this out! The pigmentation of the lipstick is average and buildable. It delivers very sheer wash of color to the lips in a single swipe. Hence, it needs to be layered to get a perfect opaque finish. It hides my mildly pigmented lips pretty well in 3-4 swipes but I am not sure that it would be good enough to hide extremely pigmented lips.

The texture of the lipstick is good. It never drags my lips and glides so smoothly. There is hardly any tugging or pulling even when my lips are extremely dry these days. The soft texture makes it glide like a dream. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. Though it does not feel sticky or heavy, I can still feel the lipstick on my lips.

It feels kind of moisturizing initially but lips tends to get dry after an hour so and I need a lip balm instantly to get rid of that dry and stretchy feel. Winters are approaching and my lips have become extremely dry these days. So, I do not find it moisturizing and hydrating in nature. The creaminess of the lipstick makes it transfer to mugs and goblets easily.

The longevity of the lipstick is average. It lasts for some 3-4 hours on my lips with a little fading. I am glad the lipstick does not smudge or bleed. It fades away partially after a light meal, and a light hint of color with those shimmers is left behind. This looks really ugly. The color settles into the fine lines of my lips, giving a very poor appearance. So, it definitely requires a reapplication after a full meal.
