My Experience with KleanColor 10 Chocolate Femme Lipstick:
The packaging of the lipstick is average. The lipstick tube has a curvy shape, but it looks flimsy. The only thing that I like about this lipstick packaging is its color-coded body because it helps to spot the shade easily from the makeup stash. The cap fits tightly and does not come off while carrying around. The tip of the lipstick bullet remains outside the tube, so I need to be a little careful while closing the cap else it will damage the bullet. One more thing which I do not like about the packaging of all the Kleancolor lipsticks is, the lipstick bullet gets detached from the base and sticks to the cap. As I bought the entire collection online, almost every lipstick had the same problem.
The Shade “Chocolate” is a darkened/burnt orange colour and it is not exactly a chocolate brown colour. The shade looks pretty on the lips. I do not prefer using brown lipsticks as they make me look old but, this particular shade leans more towards orange and hence, it is a wearable shade. This lipstick has a decent pigmentation. It takes two-three swipes to build up the colour properly on the lips. Also, the lipstick does not feel heavy upon layering. It has a very mild candy fragrance that is totally non-bothersome.
The texture of the lipstick is nice. It is smooth, creamy and hence, it glides effortlessly on the lips without any tugging or pulling. The formula is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips. Also, the lipstick has a non-sticky texture. The lipstick is not at all moisturising, so my lips start feeling dry after some time. Hence, it is necessary to keep your lips moisturised and hydrated.
The lipstick sets to a beautiful creamy finish. It does not cling onto the dry patches on the lips. There are no smudging issues with this lipstick, but being a crème lip colour, it has the tendency to transfer crazily. The staying power of the lipstick is poor. The lipstick stays for around 3-4 hours on my lips after which it starts fading from the center. Also, the lipstick can be easily removed with a makeup removing wipe.
