My Experience with Kleancolor Femme Lipstick- 05 Garnet:
The packaging of the lipstick is average. The brand has given a feminine curvy shape to the lipstick tube. But, the lipstick tube looks kind of flimsy. The only thing that I liked about this lipstick packaging is, its color-coded body, that helps to easily spot the shade from makeup stash during rush hours.
The clear cap helps to see the lipstick shade form outside only. I store my lipsticks upside down as they have shade details at the base. But, these lipstick caps have a color-coded top so, I don’t need to place these upside down. The cap fits tightly and makes it travel friendly. A part of the lipstick bullet, remains outside the tube, hence I need to be a little careful while placing the cap, else it may damage the bullet.
One more that I do not like about the packaging of all the Kleancolor lipsticks is, that the lipstick bullet gets detached from the base and sticks to the cap. As I have got these online, almost the entire collection had the same problem and I had received the damages tips of the lipstick bullets. Overall, I am not a fan of the packaging as it has some flaws.
The shade “Garnet” is a beautiful cool toned pinkish red lipstick. The shade is not too bold and can be carried very easily. This is a pretty shade for the coming festive and wedding season. It will easily flatter Indian skin tones very nicely. This lipstick does not contain any glitters or shimmers in it. This makes it versatile and even more wearable. The lipstick has an average pigmentation. I am actually not much impressed with the pigmentation but the color can be easily buildable with 3-4 swipes. The lipstick sets to a semi-opaque creamy finish, even after multiple swipes.
Though, it hides the mild pigmentation of my lips nicely but it will surely not capable of hiding extremely pigmented lips. The color does not crease at all, even upon heavy layering. The lipstick has a very mild candy fragrance, that is barely noticeable and non-bothering.
The texture of the lipstick is lovely. It is very smooth and creamy in nature, that gives an effortless application. It does not cause any tugging or pulling of the lips. The formula is lightweight and feels very comfortable on the lips. The lipstick does not feel sticky or waxy on the lips. The formula is slightly moisturizing and hence the lips do not feel dry with this lipstick on the lips. But, it lacks those hydration properties and does nothing to keep the lips hydrated. The lipstick sets to a beautiful satiny finish. The lip color never highlights the dry patches of the lips and looks so smooth and even. There are no significant smudging issues with this lipstick but due to the creaminess, a little color smudges from the outer corner of the lips after having a meal. The lipstick easily transfers to mugs and goblets.
The disappointing part, apart from the packaging flaws is, the staying power. The lipstick has low staying power. It hardly stays for 3-3.5 hours on my lips, with a little fading. It loses its shine with time. It does not survive meals and fades away completely, leaving a cheap looking pinkish stain behind. The lipstick settles into the fine lines of the lips and highlights the dry patches once the color gets ripped off.

Not really. There are better option available out there.
