The trio matte eyeshadow palettes are fun little compacts on the outside that pack a big punch of color on the inside for a great addition to your eyeshadow wardrobe. Three intensely pigmented, matte shades that will be all you need for all over lid, crease and outer corner.
My Experience with Kleancolor KC Eyeshadow Trio Mushroom:
The packaging is black plastic with a clear top. There isn’t much to write about the packaging as it isn’t that great but is very handy to use. Also, there isn’t any brush that’s provided with the palette nor is there any mirror. It comes with a sponge tip applicator though. The back has all the details about this trio.
The shadows are very smooth to touch but are slightly powdery. There is a little bit of fallout but I’m willing to overlook that. There isn’t one shadow that doesn’t feel silky smooth to touch.
These shadows are very nicely pigmented as you can see in the swatches. What I like about these shadows the most is that they blend really very well. These shadows stay put on the lids for 6 hours easily. I did use a matte primer underneath but I guess they’ll show up just as good without a primer as well.
Let’s get to know the shadows individually now:
- The first shade is a very light yellow color. This shade is pigmented but very chalky. It is also very smooth to touch.
- The second shade is a camel colour. It is a light brownish shade but I think the word ‘camel’ does a better description of this shade.
- The third shade is a medium brown shade. This is a nice shade for defining the eyes. It can also be used to smoke up the lower lash line for a subtle definition.
