Today I am a going to review this Lipstick from KleanColor Madly Matte range in the shade Dragon Fruit. On hearing this name, I get the craving to eat real dragon fruit! This fruit is widely available in Indian supermarkets these days. Now let’s get back to the review!

My Take on KleanColor Madly Matte Lipstick – Dragon Fruit:

This lippie comes packed in a black-colored case much similar to ELF’s packing. The lipstick is not color coded but the color can be seen from the transparent gap between the lid and the base. It closes with a click making it travel friendly.

The color is a very pretty fuchsia much similar to the real dragon fruit. This is not a complete matte lipstick as it has a creamy shine to it. There is no glitter present in the color. There is a mild fruity fragrance that vanishes within few minutes of application. The color pigmentation is great I must say! A single swipe imparts enough color to the lips hiding all the pigmentation and flaws.

The lipstick does not bleed or settle into fine lines. The texture is smooth and creamy. There is no tugging or pulling on the lips while applications. After few minutes it sets properly and does not transfer. The mild sheen also fades away with time making it completely matte. It does not dry out my lips and keep them moisturised throughout.

The lipstick stays for a long time. It can survive light meals and snacks without fading. I usually apply it early in the morning while leaving for wok and it stays on till the time I come back in the evening with slight fading. So we can say that it lasts for good 7-8 hours with minimum fading.

This is my favourite lip color these days. It’s perfect for a lazy Monday morning when I don’t feel like doing any make up. I just apply this lipstick and it brightens my face in an instant!
