Hi lovely readers!
This is the third Kleancolor baked eye shadow that I am reviewing. I purchased a bunch of cosmetics online and even though this brand is not that popular, the products performed really well for a lesser known brand, and fell in the category of unsung heroes. Read on further to know about this product.
KleanColor proudly presents a wide array of shades with all time pigment-rich American Eyecon Wet/Dry Baked Shadow. The intensity of color can satisfy any color junkies’ ultimate craving. Try it on and fall for its beauty result of irresistible pigments that blends easily and lasts.
My Take on Kleancolor Matte Fuschia American Eyecon Wet Dry Baked Shadow:
Packaging: The product is baked in a convex form in a plastic case that has a clear plastic lid. I will be honest, packaging appears cheap and very fragile – not impressive, but that’s the only downside.
Texture: It is a baked eyeshadow set in a plastic case, it has a very smooth texture, and it’s easy to apply. Even though it’s matte, it has very subtle shimmer which is barely visible, but it prevents fall out and helps in packing shadow on the lids, for better color payoff. I thought it might behave like a cheap powder shadow, but it is very smooth, very easy to apply and blend. I purchased a few matte shades as well and all are equally smooth.
Color: It is a brilliant fuchsia pink shade, looks very pretty on my dusky complexion, and goes well both with a subtle look or a more dramatic look.
Pigmentation: Very good pigmentation. I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadow to take a picture and was delightfully amazed to see the color that my finger tips picked up. It is a dry/wet shadow and can be used either way, but gives a better wear time when applied with a damp brush.
Application: I used it on my lids and smudged it out with blue, purple and grey shadows on separate occasions and every time, it turned out well and didn’t look garish as I had feared. It smudges a little, so it is better to use with a damp brush to increase the color intensity and wear time.
Staying Power: 8 to 9 hours and maybe more, but I removed it after 9 hours, but it did stay put during the entire duration I wore it. One can increase the wear time with primer or white eyeshadow underneath.
This is a very good product for the money that you pay. I bought 6 shadows from this brand and all of them are unique shades. I prefer palettes since they occupy less space, but the colors were so irresistible that I had to try out these shadows.
