Remember my review on the Konad lashes, which seemed would be over the top, but turned out quite natural looking? So, these are exactly the same style lashes with some silver glitter on it. I did not know when I bought these. I had ordered both 05 and 02 together assuming they would be different, I had never known or planned about glitter falsies!
A pair of false eyelashes to enhance the beauty of your eyes. The false eyelashes from konad gives your eyes a well-defined look. This is reusable and false eyelash extensions are low maintenance too.
How To Use:
1. Bend fixed eyelash up and down flexibly.
2. Trim full lashes with sharp scissors to accommodate the natural line of your own lashes.
3. Apply a very thin line of glue or adhesive along the base, let it sit for 5 to 6 seconds. Begin with a minimal amount of glue, adding more if needed.
4. Apply the false lashes above your eyelashes, as close to your lash line as possible, following its natural curve.
- False Eye lashes (1 Pair).
- Eyelash glue (1 gm).
Before these, I have used the ELF 1$ false eyelashes in “Natural” and then the Basicare ones I wore for Neptune Star review yesterday. I will be reviewing both soon. Till then, I had these pictures ready, so I thought I would show you guys these readily available online version of eyelashes. Konad lashes come nicely packed in a matter of fact kind of packing, straight and simple instructions and then the removal process.
I am extremely happy with the lashes. The lashes are gorgeous, yet have a little dramatic edge to it due to the glitter, not very noticeable unless someone is at an arm’s distance. Now after my past bitter experiences, I was expecting a lot from the glue. The lash band is slim and sits on the base of the lashes perfectly and is not very visible as you can see. The glue comes in a tiny tube that needs to be pierced just like Soframycin tubes. The glue comes on white, very much like Fevicol. The best part about the glue is that it dries into a transparent or brownish look and not white thankfully 🙄 It sticks to the lash extremely well. Ask me, I have had very bad experiences with glues of some other brands, but this one works just fine, dries transparent and fits the lash well; even the ends which are often difficult for me to stick.
The removal is like a breeze, I just used a damp finger tip, barely touch the base of the lash and peel it off . I does not hurt and comes off very very easily. So, everything is sorted.
The only problem I face though is that the glue leaves behind some crumbly sticky glue on my real lash which I would need to scrape off. It looks very much like mild Fevicol. I suggest taking a shower and it would be better, but otherwise too, it feels like those regular glues and comes off easily if you have time on your hands.
The glitter version of the lashes may be real good for night wear. You may want to avoid these during day time. I don’t think now there is anything wrong with wearing falsies if they look natural, even during the day. You have to choose right. I will be reviewing two more of what I have. I am really new to falsies and they changed my mind too. So, I hope I was able to help.
One more important thing I want to point out about Konad is that I washed them and nothing happened to them! I am a little finicky about keeping such things clean and new, so I washed them to get rid of the glue. Till now the glitter is intact, but I think over a time, the glitter may fall off, as its really namesake.
Last Word on Konad False Eyelashes 02: Glitter Version
Great for night parties, the glitter is very toned down, not over the top. Keep a dramatic version for night and a natural version for day. Buy these, as the glue is dependable and I use it for my other lashes too which are pretty. Do give false eyelashes a try, they are not as dramatic as we think they are, you wouldn’t know unless you try. I think the Indian market needs more variants of falsies for us to choose from :haanji:
P.S.: These are not the lashes I wore for Revlon Diamond Lust, will be reviewing them soon. Until then, try these. Sorry for an overdose of my eyes :stars:
