My Experience with Korres Cherry Lip Gloss – Fuchsia:
I like it. I won’t say I love it, but yes, I like it. It is a lovely light pink or rather nude pink color. Though the color is Fuchsia, but contrary to the name of the shade, it is not as pigmented as we expect normal fuchsia colors to be. It is more like a pink color with a hint if red or peach you can say. This gives an amazing sheen, of course since it is a gloss and not a matte lipstick. It smells good, looks good on lips.
It does not bleed if you apply it right, but but but, it is a little sticky in nature. I mean the texture of the lip color is nowhere close to the goodness that their liquid lipsticks have, but this does have some positives as well. Okay, one more thing – this shade has glitter! But good thing is you don’t feel the glitter on the lips. I mean its really fine glitter. You just see it in the tube and not on the lips. On lips, you just see the shine.
It does not get transferred much but it does not stay for long. It stays for about 1-2 hours, just like normal lip glosses, but even if you drink or eat, the color fades off, but you have a bit of shine left on the lips.
The swatch is taken in flash because in sunlight, the color was not visible and this is just one swipe in the center and one swipe at each corner of the lips.
Time for weighing the pros and cons:
Pros of Korres Cherry Lip Gloss – Fuchsia:
- Brand name of Korres – they make paraben and SLS-free cosmetics and do not test on animals.
- Very pretty color – a nude, light pinky-peachy color which works well for official parties.
- Packaging is nice – a portable gloss tube or bottle (whatever you call it) with a nice applicator.
- Stays for about 1-2 hours with eating and drinking which is good for a gloss.
- Gives an awesome shine to the lips.
Cons of Korres Cherry Lip Gloss – Fuchsia:
- Color is not pigmented.
- A little tacky or sticky in nature.
A nice lip color to have in your kitty. Nothing great about it, just like a feather in the lip gloss cap 😛
