Kryolan Blusher Shade #665 G Review

Hey all!!
I wanted to review my first Kryolan product I bought recently from Delhi. I got this blusher from their store along with a eyeshadow smudger brush and an eye pencil. Read on to find out how to blusher works for me.

About Kryolan Blusher #665 G:

Blusher is a creamy pressed powder for dry application. The exceptional formulation enhances a gentle application and produces a pleasantly soft feeling on the skin.
The micronized pigments offer the possibility of applying this preparation not only with fashionable transparency, but also with vivid color emphasis.

My experience with Kryolan Blusher #665 G:

I had been eying the dermacolor concealer for a long time but when the MUA put it on me it looked scary and very obvious. After that, she suggested I use the TV paint stick which looked even worse. Then sitting there, I had a moment of truth with myself. I realised that I am happy with my scars and bumps. It only makes me human. I do not want my face to be flawless, I would rather have my soul flawless! Anyway, after that I went ahead and bought this blusher. 😀

Packaging:

It comes in a silver color box. It has the mask i.e. the kryolan logo on it. The flip side has the ingredient list. That is a huge list. Phew!! One side has the shade no., batch no., packaging dates and MRP. Inside, we have the same silver colored pan with a transparent lid. The lid is very sturdy and closes with a click and does not budge at all. So I am guessing it is travel-friendly. It is very compact and light-weight. It does not have a mirror or brush with it which is cool for me since I don’t use that brush anyway. No shade name is provided which is bad in case you own more than one of these.

Texture:

I personally like matte blushes more than the shimmery ones. This one is complete matte. The powder is finely- milled and feels like satin when touched. The pigmentation is superb. One or two swipes gives you a great sun-kissed look. I like being tan and these  warm blushes definitely gives you a slightly tan look. Don’t layer it much or else it will look muddy. It is a good day time blush for summers and for that beach look. Since the color is not conventional, I don’t apply it on the apples of my cheeks instead I use it with a fluffy eyeshadow blush just under my cheeks and blend it out with a blush brush. I don’t know much about contouring but this is how I do it.

Shade:

The color is orangish brown. It would really beautiful on medium and dusky complexions. Being matte it is not very dramatic and nor will it give you any glow. This could be downside for dry skin.

Staying power:

It stays well for around 5-6 hours. I have worn it on a very sweaty day and when I came back home it did look a little muddy. The key is to use with a light hand and you are good to go.
