I have added too many makeup products in my stash. So in the next few days I will be reviewing all those for you. Here I am reviewing a very unique product from Kryolan. I am absolutely in love with this brand. They come up with amazing products that you can use to achieve professional makeup looks. This is one such products which fulfills what it claims and also does something which it does not claim at all (that too in a more than perfect manner!) Read the review to find out all about it.

Claims- Kryolan Contour Pencil 2 Colors is a soft textured pencil for eye and lip contouring. Its special formulation makes this pencil very durable and provides strong color intensity. The two colors of black and brown are perfect creative designs. For a softer texture warm the tip of the pencil prior to application.
My Experience with Kryolan Contour Pencil 2 Colors:
The pencil comes in a simple sharpable pencil form. Half the pencil is brown and the other half is black. The middle section has the color-code so that you know which side is which color. Both the sides have tight caps attached. So you can definitely carry it in your handbag. The pencil has to be sharpened which makes it hygienic and not much product is lost while sharpening.
The texture of this pencil is pretty smooth and the pigmentation is amazing too. The tip never breaks during the application or sharpening. It glides easily on the skin or lip line without much tugging or pulling. However on the eyes, it needs a little effort as the skin is too soft and loose. The problem can be solved by pulling the outer corner of the eyes towards the ears and that will make the skin tight enough for this pencil to work.
Initially I was a little skeptical about using this pencil. How can I contour my eyes? How can I use a black pencil to contour my lips? These were a few questions that came in my mind. But as I started experimenting, I realized the uses of this pencil and the amazing work that it can do.
On the eyes- It can be used to define the crease of the eye and create an illusion of depth. I usually line the crease with the brown color and then smudge it along with a brown shadow. Similarly the outer crease can be lined and smudged using the black pencil. It is a very efficient way of creating smoky eye looks for the beginners.
On the lips- It took long for me to convince myself about using a black pencil on lips. But when Rati recreated Aishwarya’s Cannes 2015 look and used a black eye-shadow (yes, you are reading it right) to create the fabulous lips, I wanted to give this pencil a try. And yes, it did an amazing job. I do not have a much defined lip-line. So many lipsticks look like they are bleeding from the lips, even when they are not. I started using the brown shade to line my lips and as I have naturally pigmented lips it worked perfectly for the purpose. The lipstick application looks perfect after that. Also I use the black shade to line the outer corners of the lips in a V shape. This helps to create a fuller pout. I just make sure to use a lip-brush and cover the lines so that they do not look harsh.
On the face- This pencil is good for daily, quick contouring. Draw the lines using the brown shade and smudge the product to get the chiseled face. I do not contour my face on a daily basis. But at times, I do love to contour the sides of my nose to make it look sharp.
On the brows- this is probably the best use of the pencil. The S.A actually gave me this product when I asked for an eye brow pencil. I use the brown shade for grooming my eyebrows everyday and the black one when I want bold brows. Gentle stokes of the pencil creates amazing, natural looking brows as the gaps are filled perfectly. The precise lines help to create the perfect shape even when your brows are not trimmed properly. So, if you do not get time to visit the parlour and shape your brows, this pencil can definitely rescue you from the trouble.
