My Experience with Kryolan Lip Glisser LG Pink MA:
The packaging of this one is like a lip balm. It comes in a grey round pot with a transparent twist open lid that has the Kryolan logo on it. It easily fits in your purse and there is nothing to complain about the packaging.
The product has a basic pink color that looks good on anyone and everyone. However, the color truly shows up on the lips, unlike other lip balms. It is a soft pink color that looks pretty by itself or over other lip products. The most notable thing about it is the smell. It has a strong citrusy smell that reminds me of my granny’s nimbu ka achar.
The smell is too overwhelming at times. I love everything about citrusy fragrance and thus love this one. If you are not a big fan, you won’t love this much. It has a creamy-gel like consistency, just like some lip balm.
I prefer picking it up on my finger and dabbing it on my lips. It is pretty sticky and adheres to the lips very well. If you apply it over a lipstick, it doesn’t change the color much but adds a pearly shine. I love using it over matte lipsticks to get shine and moisturization at the same time.
It also preps the lips well before lipstick application. I often apply it at the beginning of makeup and then apply lipstick at last on the soft, prepped lips. It stays on for really long. Due to the adherence power it is not affected by meals and water. It stays pretty well for 7-8 hours which is a very good thing. I remove it with a wet wipe or a basic makeup remover.
Overall, this is a multipurpose lip product that I love having in my stash and been using it every now and then.
