It has completely transformed the meaning of makeup by making our girls glamorous and beautiful. It has not only taught us how to look beautiful, but also how to feel beautiful. Now, I can totally preach the makeup theory to anyone, all thanks to Rati di and the team. I was eagerly waiting for IMBB vacancies and here I am on the platform, feeling like a celebrity already 😀  So, without much ado, let’s start with the review.

Today, I am going to review Kryolan professional lipstick LC 161. Kryolan is a brand that has never failed to impress me with its quality. On my recent trip to the Kryolan store, I picked up a few lipsticks and here goes my review for one of those.

Product Description:

Lipstick with a long-proven formulation, including Vitamin E to stimulate the skin’s repair mechanism. Lipstick Classic produces a matte impression and is known for its good durability. ECARF certified.

Price:

250 INR for 4 gm.

Ingredients:

My Experience with Kryolan Lipstick LC 161:

It comes in a silver case with its name Kryolan on it. The body is simple, nothing fancy. The cap shuts tightly and does not come off easily. Easy to carry in a bag.  The shade of the lipstick is between pink and brown. It leans more towards pink, so I would say it’s a brownish pink kind of a shade.

It gets opaque in 2-3 swipes. Since I have pigmented lips, I apply 2 coats of it for natural pink lips. The texture is buttery smooth and glides on my lips without any tugging and pulling. You can skip a lip balm before applying it. Since it is creamy, it stays on my lips for 3-4 hours and fades unevenly. After that, it does not leave any stain, it wears off completely. It does transfer.

Summing up the pros and cons:

Pros of Kryolan Lipstick LC 161:

• Buttery soft and creamy.
• Boon for dry lips since it is moisturizing enough.
• Does not settle in fine lines.
• Natural and every day kind of shade that would suit Indian skin tones perfectly.
• Inexpensive.
• No need to apply a lip balm beneath this lipstick.
• Does not stain the lips.
• Comes with an expiry date.

Cons of Kryolan Lipstick LC 161:

• Fades unevenly.
• Might not be liked by matte lovers.
• Quite transferable.
• Availability.
