I am writing this review with a broken heart. I clicked the most amazing pictures and swatches of this Kryolan Matt Eos lipstick two weeks ago. I threw away the outer paper carton, I damaged the bullet slightly while putting the cap back, and my lips decided to get dry as winter is coming. And then the worst happened. My computer crashed and I could not revive any of the pictures. I was initially not ready to review this product as I could not recreate the beautiful pictures, but then, I remembered my duty as a reviewer and decided to complete the review. This is my first orange lipstick. Hope you guys will love this one.

Lipstick Matt has a natural shine in the packaging, however, once applied it convinces with its extreme matt but velvety appearance and comfort to wear. The smear-proof lipstick with its high pigmentation will last long. Vitamin E additionally stimulates the skin’s repair mechanism.
My Experience with Kryolan Lipstick Matt Eos:
Packaging: The product comes packed in a beautiful blue carton with all ingredient details mentioned on it (I do not have the picture of it anymore ☹ ). The lipstick itself has a glossy, metallic tube packaging. It is very unique and beautiful and looks like a high-end product. This has a classy feel to it. The Kryolan logo is there on one end and the other end has the shade name mentioned. However, as the packaging is opaque and there is no color coding, it is difficult to spot your choice if you have more than one from the range. The cap shuts tightly and the lightweight packaging is definitely travel friendly.
Color: This is a very unique orange colour and I was searching for this shade for long. It is such a beautiful blue-toned orange and it would suit every skin tone. It will never wash out on any skin tone. It is a fun, sporty orange color, and very vibrant. It makes your face look brighter and younger.
Texture: As described, this is indeed a velvety matte lipstick. It is matte but it never feels too dry. It spreads smoothly and sits comfortably on the lips for long. My lips are feeling dry these days and it certainly does not make the lips drier.
Coverage: I am not very satisfied with the coverage that this lipstick provides. If you use it alone without any lip pencil, you will have to apply it multiple times to get the proper colour. Also, if you have heavily pigmented lips like me, the pigmentation won’t get covered as you can see in the swatch. But if you use it with a lip pencil, it covers beautifully and shows up nicely. In the lip art picture I have shown here, I have used this Kryolan lipstick with an orange lip pencil and the result was 10 times better. I think layering up has its own advantage as it is a tricky shade and you can control the intensity. But if you have dark pigmented lips like me, you won’t love using it without a lip liner.
Staying Power: This stays on for really long. Without any lip pencil, it survived for 5-6 hours and stayed intact even after I had my food. The staying power increases once you use a lip liner with it. Even when it fades, it leaves a beautiful stain behind. You need an oil-based remover to remove the color.

Cons of Kryolan Lipstick Matt Eos:
- Pigmented lips would require a lip liner along with this lipstick.
Would I Repurchase Kryolan Lipstick Matt Eos?
If you are planning to go for your first orange lipstick, this is a safe choice. I will probably try to find something with better coverage.
