I was looking for an orange color corrector when I came across this one. Supracolor by Kryolan is one of their best-selling ranges. There are more than 120 shades available and these colors can be used for various makeup and art purposes. Let’s see what this shade called ‘Mandarin’ is all about.

My Experience with Kryolan Mandarin Supracolor Grease Paint:
Supracolor is available in various sizes ranging from 4 ml to 8 ml to even 55 ml. I wanted to buy the 4 ml one but it wasn’t available, hence I opted for this 8 ml one. It comes in a plastic tub which is sturdy and travel friendly, but since you need to use just a tiny bit of the product each time, the packaging turns unhygienic over a period of time. I have used a lot of this product for practice but it still is almost full. So, go for the smallest size available if you are not a professional makeup artist.
Mandarin, as the name suggests, is a beautiful orange shade. It appears a bit brighter in the packaging but becomes an understated, useful yellow once I apply it on my skin. It is creamy and blends easily but does not budge once it is perfectly blended. I use my Beauty Blender to spread and blend it, and I get great results. I have a bit of dark circles, but that’s not really why I need this. I use this orange color corrector to even out my skin tone. My skin has become a shade or darker around my nose and chin area, and this corrector has become my saviour.
I apply this after a primer and it blends like a dream. I then apply my foundation over it (Maybelline Fit Me these days) and then blend it. To my surprise, the orange color does not budge from its place at all. It does not come off and it does not spread on other areas, which is amazing. It does not impact the shade and performance of my foundations either. The results? It gives me an even skin tone. There is no sign of darkness or pigmentation. But, to be honest, I have practised this a lot. Color correction didn’t really come naturally to me. 😀
The pigmentation of “Mandarin” is commendable. Hence, it can easily suit a variety of skin tones. You can also build up the color and it won’t look heavy or cakey on your skin. Again, won’t affect your foundation. Other than color correction, you can use this for creating various “artsy” makeup looks and also as a base for your orange powder eyeshadows.
I do find the ingredients list of this product long though, I mean just how long is it! Since Kryolan has just a few stores across India, availability is an issue, but now they sell online too. This one is a must-have for me and I am sure you all can find color correctors or even base shades in this brand. The shade selection is huuuuge and products are priced quite well.

I will never be able to finish this pack but it will eventually expire. So yes, I will repurchase. Also I would definitely recommend!
