Kryolan Perfect Matt Review

My Experience with Kryolan Perfect Matt:

The product comes in a blue, plastic tube with a twist-open blue cap. All details are written in various languages at the back of the tube or on the paper carton. You need to squeeze out a little product every time. Although it is pricey, a little goes a long way and it will last for long. I love the convenient packaging.

It is a satiny, silky smooth, transparent gel. I usually use the Colorbar primer, which is also gel based, but this Kryolan one is silkier and lighter. A very little amount is needed to spread on the whole face and it does not impart any color. It has a sweet bubble gum kind of a smell which I love.

As I have mentioned previously in the post, the texture of the primer is very lightweight and feels super comfortable on the skin. The gel is very soft and silky and spreads amazingly well on the skin. It does not feel sticky, nor is it too dry. It actually feels like a very lightweight, beauty oil. When dabbed gently on the skin, it does not crumble either.

The primer instantly blurs away pores, lines and imperfections. It magically transforms the skin and provides a soft filter kind of an effect. You can just apply your compact over this and your face will look unusually fresh. It makes the scars less prominent and fills up the pores. It adds a youthful glow and softness to the skin. It works well with all foundations. I especially love using it with cream-based products as it makes the blending easier. If you have dry skin, you have to use it after moisturizing the skin. It does keep away the oil.

It does not keep away the sweat to be honest, but your face won’t feel too sleek and patchy. It super humid Indian weather, your face may feel a little shiny after 6-7 hours but that is manageable with the use of a bit of blotting powder. I actually love the fact that it does not make the face super dry and lifeless. This gel keeps makeup in place and the colors show up correctly. I also use it on eyes and lips at times. It contains silicone, but as it is of good quality, it has never caused any breakout on my sensitive skin.

Overall, I am happy with this product. It is expensive and I will save it for special occasions 🙂
