I bought three packs of glitter by Kryolan a few months ago and have been loving them. So today I am reviewing Kryolan Polyester Glimmer Coarse Copper. Read on to know more about it.

Polyester glimmer is a stunning product for creating beautiful, sparkling effects on body and hair. It can be applied directly to the skin or on top of Multi gel, Hydro Spirit gum or Supracolor for longer lasting effects. It is available in 3 gradients of particle size from fine to coarse.

My Experience with Kryolan Polyester Glimmer Coarse Copper:

Kryolan Polyester Glimmer comes in a mini pot with a clear lid. The packaging is very simple and lightweight. There is a small hole in the pot which helps extract the glitter. It is a safe and travel-friendly packaging. I feel this range of glitter is quite affordable but their unavailability might be an issue.

Kryolan offers lots of shades in this range and I picked up three. Copper is a gorgeous shade and these glitter particles look stunning. These glitters have a shiny finish and are quite wearable. I feel these are perfect for bronze eye makeup.

This pack does not contain fine glitter. These are chunky glitter particles and each one of it has a nice square shape. I have never used such chunky glitter earlier. This size and shape provide an extra dimension to the look along with the sparkling effect. It is the perfect product for creating 3-D makeup looks.

I love the super illuminating finish. I feel this is perfect for parties as well. I can also use these on the body. In fact, even the brand claims that these can be used on the body. Now this is a glitter product and such products always require a good base. So, I always apply a glitter primer and then put these on with a flat shadow brush.

This way, these glitters get applied easily and there is less fallout. These particles get easily stuck to the base and do not look messy. These have never irritated my eyes but still one needs to be extra careful during application. Since this is a bigger size, these particles can easily go into your eyes and irritate them. So, be careful.

I have sensitive eyes and am quite happy with the quality so far. One con is that you cannot blend this glitter type along with your normal shadows. Since the size is bigger, it is not possible to blend. Due to the size, these glitters look prominent on the eyes and offer a high shine look.

Initially, I thought these would feel heavy on the eyelids but actually these are quite comfortable and lightweight. My eyes feel uncomfortable only when I end up applying too much product. I love the quality and the overall look these glitters provide to my face.

Removing these is a little difficult but I have learnt a new trick. A tape can easily remove fallout and doesn’t require much effort. This way, there won’t be any mess or irritation. The staying power depends on the base as it helps keeping glitter in place. So, a good primer will hold these particles in place for long.

Still, these glitter particles do not look messy and do not travel all over the face. Due to the big size, they come off if I touch my eyes, but otherwise I feel these perform well. These just spread only during application. I mean, they tend to fly a lot in my room during application.

Overall, I love the shade and quality. This glitter pack performs well for the price I paid and the great part is this can be used anywhere – on your lips, nails, face etc. I can now easily achieve a sparkling effect.
