Kryolan Professional Lipstick Shade #LC156 Review

Hey Guys,

I have only two more lipsticks to review from Kryolan after this 🙁 But anyway I am happy that I have a really good collection of lipsticks 🙂 This is a lipstick which I had purchased from Kryolan Mumbai. The names of all the Kryolan lipsticks are so confusing; I had seen some shades online before going to the store and obviously I forgot the numbers, I ended up buying something totally different. But still I am satisfied with my purchase. Let’s get back to the review.

Product Description:

Lipstick with a proven formulation, including vitamin E to stimulate the skin’s repair mechanism, Lipstick Classic produces a matte impression and is known for its good durability. ECARF certified.

Price and Packaging:
So Kryolan lipsticks are really good quality and affordable at the same time. I got this 4 gram lipstick at Rs. 300. The lipstick comes in a silver- colored case. It has a mirror kind of thing on top of the lid. It can be useful when you do not have mirror on the go. The cap shuts with a click sound; and yes it is quite sturdy and travel-friendly. It has the shade number written at the bottom.

Texture and Pigmentation:
The texture of this product is very creamy and smooth. It glides on my lips very smoothly; it is smooth and creamy but still, it does not bleed at all as it settles to a matte finish after around 10 minutes of application which is the part I love the most. The staying power is really good ;it stays put on me for good 4-5 hours if I do not have any meals in between. But if have something, it fades away and leaves a beautiful stain behind.

One annoying thing about Kryolan lipsticks is their weird smell. It smells like a mosquito has died….ughhh!!!!! It is just disgusting, but thankfully the smell does not linger on for more than 20 minutes post-application. Now coming to the pigmentation of this color; It has really good pigmentation you will not need more than two swipes to get the full opacity. In all the other dark shades one swipe is enough, but with this you will need two swipes as it is a lighter shade. It is simply a pink colored lipstick which will suit wheatish to fair skin tones, Dusky beauties should avoid this shade as it will not suit them at all. It is an amazingly sweet color which is good for college going girls as well as office goers 🙂 .

No, I would definitely like to check the other shades, as Kryolan has a world of different shades of lipsticks:)

Kryolan does have a variety of colors and you should give them a try wherever you find the store and also try this shade:)
