Kryolan Single Eyeshadow in Sudan
The product I am going to review today is a mono eye shadow from Kryolan. I do not own much eye shadows, just some basic colors and loose pigments. As all eye shadows I have are shimmery, I was looking for a matte brown shade that can be used for very subtle kind of look or giving edge to the eye makeup while using loose pigments.
Color: The color I got is named SUDAN. It’s a dark chocolate brown shade in complete matte texture. I terms of color this product is super success for me as I wanted the damn same look that this shade gave.
Price: It again tops in terms of money. It is reasonably priced at INR 350 for 2.5 gm quantity. It is too worthy of this price as this color can be used for multiple purpose.
Shelf life is 30 months.
Packaging: I do not like the packaging. It is so boring. But it justifies the saying Dont judge a book by its cover.
My experience with Kryolan Single Eyeshadow in Sudan:
This is a must have shade. One can use this eye shadow in so many ways. I use this to get a deep eye look by using it on my crease or as an eyebrow filler, or to get smokey brown look or as base for loose pigments.
It can also be used to get a subtle office kinda look but as my eyelids are pigmented and I don’t use concealer on regular basis, so I don’t use this in that way.
In the pictures I have used this with Face loose pigment in light peach color and brown gel liner. I have also used this to fill by eyebrows. I wore it for parties only till now and it stayed well for 4-5 hours without any eye primer. It can survive more I think, but I didn’t get chance to wear it beyond that.
Also it is enough pigmented. Just one swipe gave nice color on my lids. Although while swatching I find it difficult to show on my hand, but it comes well on eyes.
Pros of Kryolan Single Eyeshadow in Sudan:
• Nice color that serves multiple purpose.
• Can be used to create subtle as well as smokey looks.
• Very pigmented.
• Can be used as Eyebrow Filler.
• No fallout, but you need to remove excess product from brush before application.
• Reasonably priced.
Cons of Kryolan Single Eyeshadow in Sudan:
• Texture is not creamy, it’s a bit chalky, so need to be a little careful while application.
• This shades play well on eyes when used with other colors, but I can’t use this all alone for my eye makeup.
• Only available at Kryolan stores and that too very difficult to find out.
Rating : 4.8/5
This is a must have shade. I would recommend this to everyone who doesn’t own this shade. At this price, this is a total win-win for me.
I would buy this again definitely after this is finished. Also, I want to try more shades from this. Soon I will plan another visit to Kryolan store.
