Today, I am going to talk about my recent purchase from Kryolan. I went to college to pay fees while coming back I happen to see kryolan and it pulled me in for some happy shopping 😀 I really don’t know the reason but shopping in kryolan doesn’t give me guiltiness, may be because of some affordable quality products they offer. I really wanted to try some of their famous multipurpose products. So here I am to share with you all the kryolan supracolor.

What kryolan describes
Supracolor Interferenz is an iridescent cream make-up, containing no metallic pigments, with pearlescent effects for creation of captivating make-up impressions. In addition to the classical color nuances of gold, silver, copper and bronze, Kryolan offers a large assortment of vivid, iridescent colors.

Packaging
Kryolan supracolor Interferenz retails in palettes as well as refills. I bought the refill. The Kryolan specifies the product for face and body. The refill is packed in a quite thick plastic cover with the logo of Kryolan engraved on it. The plastic cover has a flip lock like inglot refill cover case. One can store them easily in the plastic cover itself. These refills have no magnetic backing, it is just a normal white plastic case. The code of the product with the manufacture date and expiry is printed at the back of the refill. The refill also had a small printed paper attached; it had all the list of ingredients. The outer refill case again mentions the manufacture and expiry date along with the price and quantity details. Overall, I liked the packaging.

Product description
Kryolan Supracolor Interferenz is like a creamy shadow. As Kryolan mentions it has a great range of shades, ranging from neutral coppers and browns to more vibrant ones. Supracolor is super creamy product and therefore you should always set with powder or something similar, otherwise they would crease on you. They can be used on the eyelids as eye shadow, on face as highlighter, mix with your foundation as illuminator and also lips for glossy effect, basically it is a face and body product. It is an excellent multifunctional product.

Colour
Kryolan supracolor Interferenz in art 5040 is a gorgeous iridescent gold with pink undertones. The colour reminds me a lot of mac’s expensive pink eye shadow, may be some won’t agree with me but it does really remind me of it. I would love to give a comparative swatch but I don’t own expensive pink eyeshadow☹. The colour is so pretty it would definitely go well with Indian outfits. 🙂

Texture and pigmentation
The texture of the product is buttery and silky. It is insanely creamy in texture. One has to set the product with a powder to avoid creasing. The product has amazing pigmentation, one swipe gives full intensity of colour. The product blends into the skin effortlessly; it leaves a good iridescent glow to the skin. I have combination skin and it did not make my skin greasy. It does feel light on me.

Staying power
I would highly recommend a primer underneath this product as it is very creamy in texture. The product creases and budges without a powder topped on it. I applied the product like a highlighter on highpoints of my cheek and set it with a light hand of blush. I really like the product as a highlighter more than an eyeshadow base. It blends really well and does not emphasize on pores. It stayed on me for about 4 hours.

Cons of Kryolan Supracolor Interferenz art 5040

• May not suit all skin types- I am really not sure how it will work on oily skin, may be it would work fine if you use a good primer underneath.
• Cannot be worn alone- you have set it with a powder.
