Today, I am going to review a pretty unique product for you all. You all know that my makeup skills are amateurish. But, that never stops me from trying professional makeup products. I won’t say that I do great with them. At times, I fail at using them properly and cannot do justice. But, that never refrain me from trying new things. My recent obsession is all about creamy products that bends in the skin and leaves a beautiful color. In this review, I will tell you guys about a beautiful cream based makeup product that gives great pearlescent effects.

My Experience with Kryolan Supracolor Interferenz Refill PV:

Packaging: The product comes in a usual Kryolan refill packaging. The product is in a small plastic pan that comes in a transparent plastic encasing. This plastic case can be locked, so you can easily keep the pan in it without storing it in a separate palette. You can also travel with it if you want to.

Shade: It is glassy, pearly purple shade with a silvery effect. Remember Kareena and her purple obsession in KKKG? This color will remind you of that time. It looks great on Indian skin tone.

Blendability and Pigmentation: Blending it totally into the skin without any powder is a little tough. If you do that, you will lose the color intensity. It is not super pigmentation at the first go either. You will have to layer it on if you want deeper intensity. I think the objective of this product is to create temporary, creative looks with cream products. The buildable coverage helps the artist to control the intensity which is a great thing.

Texture: This has a creamy soft texture that feels very gentle on the skin. It blends out pretty smoothly. However getting an even coverage using this is a little tough. It gives an uneven look which is not patchy though. It creates textures on the skin and when you open and close your eyes, it creases and creates a different pattern of layering all together. It is much like topping eye shadow with gloss to create a wet effect. If that is what you want your creative makeup look to look like, you will love it.

Staying Power: This does not have a long staying power on its own. Even if it does, it creases and fades. So, top it with other shadows. You can also use it as a highlighter base and then top it off with a highlighter to get the unicorn glow. I prefer removing I with eye makeup removers.
